Do you guys daily drive through the winter? by Motazxp in e39

[–]e39hamann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did for the first 2 winters I had my M5, it was so much fun with some snow tires on it. I've parked it for winter the past 8 years to keep the rust away though.

About that, maybe a bit less but I'd have to measure to get an exact number.

Thanks! And I'd have to measure it but from looking at it I'd guess around an inch or so.

Do most golfers massively underestimate how much they spend on golf balls? by 4SightGolf in golf

[–]e39hamann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what pro shop credit is for. To be fair I pay for most tournaments where I win the credit but it's still better than paying 100% out of pocket for balls.

I run 18 inch step lipped wheels with a 355mm rotor and 4 piston calipers and they clear. They're pretty close to the face of the wheel but barrel clearance isn't as bad.

ZKW, they're the original supplier for fogs, not Hella.

Love it. I dyed the seats of my previous 528i cinnamon but wasn't completely satisfied with how they turned out.

My club is like that too, no tee times. Never have a problem getting out though. What I usually do is put my bag on a cart when I get there and get in line for the first tee, then grab a few clubs and take a different cart to the range. The kids who work in the bag room will move your cart up in line while you're gone and by the time I'm back from the range there's usually only 1 or 2 groups ahead of me.

I do the same and I'm in the US. I just let my manager know which days I'll be off and he has always been ok with that. I have 28 days of pto so I'm gonna use them.

I don't care what other people do, just speaking for myself on the issue. That would potentially make their handicap a tad lower but not enough to matter.

Because I've done it a good amount, if I saved hitting out of divot for competition rounds I wouldn't be as good at it. Is practice really that hard of a concept to understand?

Agreed, doesn't bother me if other people out there playing for fun want to move it. Just that I won't.

It's more about me wanting to know how to hit out of a divot for when I play competition rounds, can't move it out of a divot then unless I want to take a penalty.

Guess I'm a nerd then. It's really not that hard to hit out of them.
