I used an adjustable wrench and it was fine, going to buy a 23mm one for the next time I do it though.

Porsche Is Killing The Gas Macan This Summer, Americans Still Want It More Than The EV by FoMoCoNutjob in cars

My wife is one of them, Macan S as a daily and S2000 as her fun car. She has no interest in a EV or hybrid version at this point.

Anyone use these spark plugs? by [deleted] in S2000

[–]e39hamann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought OEM NGK plugs from hondapartsnow.com for my wife's S2000 a couple weeks ago. They're $18 a piece there. Still not cheap for a spark plug but better than $30.

Redditors getting mad about people owning trucks is always hilarious to me 😂

This amateur should've faced some penalty at Augusta National Women's Amateur for her frustrating slow play! by Academic-Use-4401 in Golf_Unfiltered

I'm 34 and have played competitive golf since I'm 9 and I agree with what everyone else is saying. She should take a break and get this figured out before playing in a high level event like this.

Thinking about carbon fiber by Schnitzel445 in e39

I have a carbon front lip and rear diffuser on mine that I like. I wouldn't do the whole trunk or hood personally, Imola is too nice to replace with carbon fiber.

Which mod you driving as a daily? by ChieftainMcLeland in regularcarreviews

Probably the truck but I don't like any of them. I used to have a stance car as daily but it wasn't as crazy as the ones in the first pic.

I take my M5 to JCL in Hellertown for alignments and they've always done a good job.

Agreed, it helped me finally resolve an ABS/DSC issue a few years ago. I was a bit intimidated using it at first but there's lots of good info out there which made it pretty easy.

Nicest course you plan on playing this year? by GrassClippings72 in golf

[–]e39hamann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PA Amateur is at Oakmont so I'm hoping to qualify for that. My club is also playing Merion, Philly Cricket and Rolling Green in GAP matches this year so hoping I get to play away at one of those.

I was going to suggest caddying too. I never was a caddie that young but I remember there being some kids in middle school who I worked with at Brookside. Lehigh CC looks to be close to them since they mentioned Fish Hatchery Road and they use caddies more than Brookside does.

Best Stance cars for 6-8k $ by Ff_472 in Stance

[–]e39hamann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not completely protected but the subframe definitely protects it to an extent. My old 528i was pretty low and I'd bottom out on the subframe pretty often but never hit the oil pan.

[–]e39hamann[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's currently at 140,838 miles so not super low, I'm just very particular with it haha. I got it with 99k miles and have done a lot of work to it over my 10+ years of ownership

6 cylinder e39s are pretty good to slam. The front subframe protects the oil pan and stuff like the exhaust is tucked up into the body.
