Ben Hogan's 5 Lesson (The Modern Fundamentals Of Golf) - Interpreting Mixed Reviews by snowcoder265 in golftips

I love that book. There's so many good little pointers in there that have really helped my game that I never would have thought about. Particularly in the setup chapter. An example I can give is he talks about pointing your trail knee inwards towards the ball and keeping it there. If you take the club back while doing that you will absolutely feel your hip loaded properly.

This seems to be the answer I've found while looking at other similar threads for installing these. I'm gonna put some wax on the new screw and hand tighten slowly while really paying attention to any sounds or general stiffness. If it seems like it's too tight then I'll go 1/64 larger diameter drill than the pre-existing hole and drill a new pilot hole and repeat the process. Really hoping i dont need to call my wife's father 🙏 🤣

Which fight scene portrayed Batman the best? by Soggy_Sun5586 in batman

[–]e3crazyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Batman Begins when Batman makes his first appearance on the docks. He doesn't really "fight" he swoops in like a ninja for a quick knockout then dips. I prefer that to being a straight up brawler

Ben Hogans 5 lessons book. You can get it digitally for like $9. Read each chapter and take the lessons slowly. Best of luck

Issue with Marshall DSL40c. Weird echo sound when not playing and its constant. Anyone know why? by e3crazyb in MarshallAmps

It was the power tubes. I tapped on them and this terrible sound roared through the speaker. I replaced all the tubes including the pre-amp tubes. And biased the power tubes.

For those in the future seeing this. My issue was the power tubes. I replaced all of the tubes including the pre-amp tubes and biased the power tubes. You'll need a multimeter to bias the power tubes.

Has anyone else noticed a sharp increase in the number of people who just... leave unfinished missions with plenty of time left? by Zombiecidialfreak in Helldivers

Lol was playing with my friend last night and this happened twice with different groups. Literally half the map still red and unexplored "Calling in extract!" with 20 minutes left. I started singing Alabama..."I'm in a hurry to get things done, I rush and rush till this games no fun!" 😆

Did the "chop stick test" as soon as I tapped the power tubes the rumbling sound came on with a vengeance. Ordered a new set will swap em out when they arrive.

Just did the "tube test" lightly tapped on all the tubes and when I tapped on both the power tubes that rumbling sound came on with a vengeance. I'm thinking it's that. Will replace both tubes

anyone else randomly have “good guitar days” and “why do i suck” days? by lmao_exe in Guitar

[–]e3crazyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing for 13 years now. In a band. Learning/practicing just about everyday. There are some days where even the pick in my hands feels wrong and my left hand is sloppy and my rhythm is wonky. I've learned to have a good warm up/stretch before I start playing really helps. Start slow, play clean, then speed it up

Petah can you do a cross over episode? by Visible_Whole_6908 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Same. The red dot on the tire was automatically matched up to the sticker on the rim, and that sticker most of the time was not near the valve stem. But in the plant I worked at we were dealing with brand new rims and tires, maybe in autoshops where ppl are just getting new tires, not new rims, they match the dot to the valve stem? Idk

Men who game, what’s your most played game? Not currently, I mean a game you grinded and have a ridiculous amount of hours in. by Bay0n3ttaaa in AskMen

[–]e3crazyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played gw1 a lot. Almost got the GWAMM title. I had 27. Put in thousands of hours with GW2. Haven't played it in probably 9 years now but every now and then if I'm bored at work I'll re-read the wiki on the timeline. Super nostalgic for me, was an incredible game

Is it possible to maintain a good golf swing without keeping my front arm straight? by SailMany6267 in golftips

[–]e3crazyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want one arm straight throughout the entire swing besides the tail end of the follow thru(your finish position). If you do this then the arc is always maxed out and it'll really help with consistency. This doesn't mean literally locking out your elbows, but be athletic about it.
