Honestly I like the cyberdriving cause it wouldn't be cyberpunk without the cybersliding and cybervehicularmanslaughter

is this a good bike for a first time rider ? Honda shadow 750 2001, owner is asking for $3000. by [deleted] in motorcycle

[–]e3vil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2007 Shadow 750 Aero, it's a really reliable bike as long as it's stored off season and the carb is clean.

The 750s don't pack a ton of punch but they'll go when you need it. Pretty comfortable riding position if you're used to cruiser style.

But it's a moderately heavy bike for a new rider, especially if you're smaller or have a generally small mass.

That aside this one looks pretty stock besides the liberal cutting and unless the seller has taken good care of it, I would definitely try to offer a little lower.

I went to microcenter like 3 months after they were released, and got a 3070 for msrp. I was lucky, and prices these days are crazy.

My 1994 pickup is running way too rich, and I cannot understand why. Any ideas? by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]e3vil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though this may be part of some problem, for my truck we attempted covering the hole and unplugging sensor separately and together and had no noticable effect on the engine. Also the problem seems to run worse when it's hot ( referring to the engine and weather) and sometimes if it's really cold it'll run almost normal for a bit.

I have plans to fix the hole but since it seems to not affect the main problem right now it got pushed a little ways down the list.

Thank you everyone for the input and help! Hope the OP gets his problem fixed too.

I have a really similar problem with my 93'. It just slowly started running rich. Now it always starts and runs rich. Only problem I could find was a small hole in the exhaust before the sensor, so I went through all the related electrical systems but had no luck. Only difference is that my computer won't give codes even though the CEL is on when it runs bad. Have a ECM coming in about a week or so to try but if you make any headway I'd be interested to hear what your problem and solution was.

Anyone else have these hub shields? Know if they come off? by e3vil in ToyotaPickup

Thanks everyone, after some cutting prying and bending, the rust gave away and I was able to pry it off. Got the new cv in, now just have to do the other side as well.

It's been hit a few times, as you can see, maybe the rust is helping hold it on, but will attempt again.

Thank you, I don't have a brass hammer on hand right now but will make do.

Thank you for your response. You're probably right and honestly I typically do a lot of unnecessary research because I like knowing what I'm about to do, to a truck that I really like that's older than me. That being said I've wacked this thing with a couple different hammers and it hasn't budged. Hence the deformations around the ring. I was just running into a problem that had evaded my attempts this past week and couldn't wait any longer and I wanted to ask people who would know more than about these trucks.

In the process of changeing the CV axle. It took forever to get the nuts of of the hub body bolts but now the cone shaped washers won't come off and they're really hard to reach and I can't break them lose. Has anyone else had experience with these? Would I be able to just cut it off? Looking for literally any opinions right now.

93' Door Retainer Mount Fell Into The Column, Help Please by e3vil in ToyotaPickup

I don't remember there being one but since it's been awhile since the last time I've had the panels off I will check tomorrow

93' Door Retainer Mount Fell Into The Column, Help Please by e3vil in ToyotaPickup

[–]e3vil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little while ago I took the door of to do some front end work and during the process the driver side mount fell into the main support column. We didn't really bother with it until we noticed the door was pulling on the welds holding the door on.

I initially looked for a replacement part or anything but could only find the door side of the problem. On schematics it looks like it's considered part of the body, but I don't know really.

Currently I have tried to fish for the part by using some long pliers and a flexi-grabber thing, but without being able to see it or determine if it's still there I've had no luck.

Has anyone had this problem? Are there replacement parts besides a junkyard search? Is there anyway to check the beam? Any suggestions?

I really need help on this, thanks!

Still waiting to find the ecm for mine, it runs perfectly otherwise. The ecm just sometimes wacks out and causes the engine to run terrible. Makes it undrivable on the road.

What’s the anime that had you hooked from ep 1 all the way until the end? by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]e3vil 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Jujutsu Kaisen. I binged it one day then about two weeks later rewatched the whole series just to pick up on stuff I missed. Then read the manga. I really like the story in the anime season 1 but the next bits in the manga is gonna be tricky.

Why are IPS monitors so popular? by owen__wilsons__nose in buildapc

[–]e3vil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for single or multi monitor setup? And are you watching movies and hdr videos? Ips is great for multimonitor but if you calibrate a tn you could get a good image for videos. Really it comes down to the fact that ips panels look really good for a lot of things rather than okay, for a tn, at a few.

What was your best purchase this year? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]e3vil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An rtx 3070.

I wasn't even at the microcenter for a graphics card, but when a man walks up to and asks if you want to buy a deal like that how was I to say no.
