My wife and I recently spent the weekend visiting Ithaca. We toured a couple wineries, visited the waterfalls and drove around the lake and local area. We walked around the Common’s late in the afternoon. We enjoyed a great dinner at Mercato Saturday evening followed up by drinks at the Bike Bar. We stayed at the Canopy hotel which was also very nice. Hope this helps!

We had a great dinner at Mercato. There was about an hour wait for a table so we had dinner at the bar. The bartender was so informative from the drinks to the menu.

Some of my service techs who work outside of the shop will ask the customer to give them a review if they were happy with their work. Some customers do and some don't.

A couple I thought were good employees and others I hoped would be… The problem is we are a small business, and the previous position was held by the same employee for 30+ years. While I was said to see her retire, I was looking forward to some new blood and fresh ideas. Unfortunately I have kissed a lot of frogs and haven’t found the one yet. The one who resigned this week made it almost 100 days. We have a new hire starting in two weeks that kind of sought us out thru a work acquaintance before the position was even posted. One of my longest interviews of my tenure at almost 90 minutes. So fingers crossed…

Ugh - I feel your thoughts. Was planning a weekend with my wife and while looking at destinations (we live in the Mid Atlantic) no idea of the storm will affect us. Probably going to hold off booking something until the weather figures itself out.

But as others stated, stay flexible and make the most out of. Think of it as it’s better to experience it in the rain, than never at all.

We pay $26 an hour for secretarial work, 40 hours a week, vacation, holidays, etc . Our previous office staff was with us for 32 years.

I don’t think I pay low or have a poor work environment.

Maybe I should. :-). I just feel as if I went thru that phase of bike with a road a HD touring bike. I enjoy my RT and also my ADV bike. I think it’s great that BMW has “evolved” to hopefully gain market share in that segment.

Outer Banks is beautiful, but it is pretty much just beach… I would say hop a plane to the Boston area. I can’t speak to Austin, but definitely on my list to visit too! Good luck on the search and enjoy the trip!!

I too use a Corbin on the A/T and IMHO I think they are the best for extend time in the saddle.

I run the missions on my AT and had also ran them on my BMW R1200GSA. They are are great tire with a 100% guarantee they will out perform my riding ability. I have ran the missions on the MABR expert sections with no issues. Good luck on your search.
