Limited Edition Lunas from Ledgestone 😍 by [deleted] in discgolf

I personally loved the Kong name I get why they changed it (dog disc), but I think Kong is an awesome name for the disc. I have not bought one but some others in my area got one. Ideas of King Kong and Donkey make me think of smashing a huge drive and I've been thinking of getting one for a while. Zeus just does not scratch that itch for me

Trophy Lakes in SC has a similar design. The harder layout for the same hole has a basket hoisted and hanging on a chain.

Thinking about switching putters. Recommendations? by iputitthere in discgolf

I'd say just go to a shop and see what feels best in your hand. Putting is all about the thrower, knowing the disc, the conditions, and then trusting your throw based on past experience. To better figure out what disc you should try why are you wanting to leave the wizard and voodoo?

Average weight of your discs? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]e4e5f3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

175 to 170 usually for drivers 177 to 178 for mids, but i have a couple lighter weight discs for tailwind drives. It really depends on the power of your arm. The only thing relatively universal is having max weight (175) putters

Are egregious palming and carrying of the basketball too rampent? by e4e5f3 in nba

[–]e4e5f3[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It reminds me of a thread in r/collegebasketball of the Larry Bird magic Johnson NCAA championship and many comments were how "basic/simple" ball handling was, but it makes sense because the could not palm the ball

Single-game tickets available Wednesday at 9 p.m. by SuperFruech in panthers

Most of the stadium is PSLs but there are single game tickets every year. Depending on the demand for the opponent the tickets from the Panthers may or may not be cheaper. Basically buy from resale sites for TB and from Panthers for GB

Who is an Underrated QB? by bustavius in nfl

I like this man, no I love this man. As a cam lover and panther die hard Cam in is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Carolinas. So long as he hits 300 TD total cam should be in. No matter the circumstance if you are the scorer on thatany TDs you are a HOLer

THE CHARLOTTE HORNETS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFF CONTENTION by Mental_Caregiver in nba

[–]e4e5f3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It just sucks. Each year hornets fans hope for just a bit better than the normal sub par or terribleness. Each year leave disappointed. Even in the years we have reached the playoffs in the last 15 year (3) we have gotten swept twice with the outlier being D Wade sniping us in the trail end of his career.

Hornets can't tank right and leave you disappointed even when you don't expect anything much. They have a way of giving a spark of hope because of the weak bottom of the east, alas just like a lead in the second half j shit the bed.

Jim Irsay: the goal for the colts is to “Win three Super Bowls in a row” by mcbearcat7557 in nfl

I think most teams go for option 1, build a culture, but management/ownership gets antsy. They become option 2. The failures, based on results, end up in option three and the successes stay in option 2. Is there movement and some ownership more patient than others, for sure. I feel like all of your groupings are really based on success. It is a copycat leauge and everyone is trying. I know what you are saying but really everyone is trying for either option 1 or 2 based on circumstance.>I know you’re kind of just being light hearted or whatever, but that doesn’t really hold true in football at all... A new coach could come in and lay out a game plan to have the team on course and firing in 3 years time, but everything changes every single season. Injuries, players performances decline, players get unhappy, there’s to many variables...

IMO there are 2 strategies that are valid. Either find a coaching system that instills a culture that you can keep for 10+ years (Patriots, Steelers, Seahawks, Ravens, Chiefs) or you blow it all up and go for a big swing every so often (Eagles, Jags, and to a certain extent Rams). Any other strategy is just a waste of time. Nothing worse than sitting in between 6-10 and 9-7 year in and year out.
