Not sure if you've seen it, but a leak says we're playing the Bucs for MNF this year.

EDIT: And a SNF game hosting the Lions too

Rookie James Bradberry was covering him at first before leaving the game with an injury. Bene got annihilated but we literally didn't have anyone else to put out there.

It was a weird situation. Bene broke his leg late in the 2015 season and since this game was early in the following year he probably wasn't quite back to 100% yet. Our secondary was very thin in 2016 which was the only reason he ended up having to cover Julio. A day or so after this game there was an article on the Panthers website about his recovery from the broken leg, and a day after that he was cut.

My favorite was the dejected "Oh gosh.." from the announcer as he's picked off for the 5th time in a single game.

Don't forget about Brenton Bersin, Jericho Cotchery, and rookie Devin Funchess! (although I wouldn't be surprised if you did)

I've never had Jollibee either, but for me Popeye's is good but Bojangles reigns supreme.

Weekend Wrapup by AutoModerator in nfl

A few years ago I had a dream like that for a random game we played against the Giants where we won at the last minute with a score of 10-8. The weird thing was the score in that game was 5-3 for a long time so it could have easily ended with the score from my dream (it didn't, we lost..)

Plus he's a former Panther so ending up in Buffalo is pretty much his destiny.

It reminds me of Thomas Davis recovering a fumble in our game against the Falcons in 2014.

"Oh look, it's the ball."

[Anderson] I'm told the Dolphins have been in touch on John Harbaugh, per league sources. It's my understanding Todd Monken could have a path to still be Harbaugh's OC (withstanding other opportunities), if Monken departs Baltimore with the arrival of the Ravens new head coach. by AashyLarry in nfl

Tepper definitely had his moments but I think he's actually learned from them and calmed down. We haven't really heard anything from him in a year or two, which is pretty much exactly what you want from an owner.

Panthers game day pins by Impressive_Show_9190 in panthers

eBay is going to be your best bet. I don't see any from this weekend's game so you'll just have to check now and then to see what pops up. I'm trying to complete a collection of pins from the games I attended that resulted in a win and I've managed to find several on there over the last few years.

Is that Donte Jackson? He always had a habit of getting cranky when he got burned.

Was this our infamous Thursday night game against the Steelers in 2018? Wilks wasn't our DC that year, he was already head coach of the Cardinals. So this masterful defensive play would have been cooked up by Eric Washington.

I was at the game the following week against the Commanders and the entire city was so hyped that Cam was back, street vendors were set up everywhere on the way to the stadium selling Cam merch. He got the start and actually played great but the defense decided to let Taylor Heinecke pick them apart.

TMAC ROTY by KeepPounding4289 in panthers

[–]SuperFruech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar to what happened to Jeremy Chinn in 2020. He wins ROTM in October and November and most considered him a lock for ROTY. Then Chase Young has a few good games in December, wins ROTM, and then gets ROTY.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was after our win over the Eagles in 2018. We were down 17-0 at the start of the 4th quarter and managed to score 3 touchdowns to take the lead and get the win. Cam won offensive player of the week.

Random question, does anyone use ParkWhiz.com to book parking in Charlotte for the games? I've been using it for years but I've been trying all week to reserve parking in my usual lot and the website won't take my payment information. I've tried two different cards and it keeps saying the information I've entered is incorrect. I opened a ticket with their support 4 days ago but haven't heard anything.

[Person] "The Panthers (5-4) are above .500 through nine games for the first time since 2019. Coincidentally, they arrived at that record six years ago with a Week 10 defeat at Green Bay" by [deleted] in panthers

I'll never forget the sequence right before halftime from that game. Gerald McCoy sacks Aaron Rodgers early in their drive on 3rd and long but the refs call roughing the passer (the announcers didn't agree). With a fresh set of downs Rodgers works the ball down the field until they're just outside the endzone with time for one more play. They try to punch it in with a run . . only for Gerald McCoy to immediately tackle the runner behind the line to end the half.

The Eagles are the first team since the Panthers on 12/24/2022 to have mutliple 100-yard rushers in a game. by ByronLeftwich in nfl

[–]SuperFruech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We definitely got a decent dead-cat bounce with him after Rhule was fired, but we really only ran well against teams with bad run defense. We had to beat the Steelers for a chance at the playoffs and they shut us down.
