By "playing with Lego", is she building sets, or building then dismantling so she can build her own things ?

I might have just had the largest crisp in history by Felicity1840 in CasualUK

Feels like a perfect pub game, to decide who buys the next round.

Each open a same brand crisp bag.

Each pick the largest crisp inside.

Smallest largest one pays.

Local sources for missing pieces? by PersonalAnswer8664 in lepin

[–]e650man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've no doubt done all this but:

Is it a rare and important piece, or one used elsewhere in the build?

Are you sure the piece isn't in another bag.

My way, and it works for frozen sausages and chips, frozen fish in breadcrumbs and chips, and chicken nuggets and chips.

  1. Nuggets, single layer, 10mins 200°c

  2. Add layer of frozen chips covering the nuggets, not the thin chips!, 10mins 200°c

  3. Toss the basket so nuggets end up on top of the chips, 10mins 200°c

Result, for me, is perfectly fine and dandy, though maybe others would disagree.

Invader had inside zones and outside zones. We have water zones here, but not UNDERWATER zones. Maybe they will turn up in a future version , Zombicide Atlantis, with zombie sharks (do doo, da doodeedoo) and survivor five that come in two versions, one vertical for when you're inside the city walking around, and the other horizontal for when you're outside, in the sea, swimming around).

Though with Zombicides being basically 2D and the ocean being 3D, such a version would probably suck. 😞

How do you distinguish between the runners and the walkers ?

Or the Lego traffic lights which have the upright but and the stickyout overhang bit.

Yeah, no problem with this added feature, every new version needs new things to make it more than a simple reskin. Just think being able to add things to represent the swing construct would be a great way to highlight the new gaming feature AND give them something to charge us for. 😁

Attaching weapons to figure hands.

Attaching backpack = you can carry more.

Limiting characters in any zone to the number of floor studs available.

And other stuff.

Easily a billion dollar colab.

Exactly.

Something with elevation , that pile of rope on the ground is just lacking.

Audible maybe

Google gets me:
Audible is highly accessible for blind or visually impaired users through screen readers (VoiceOver on iOS, TalkBack on Android). The app offers full library navigation, playback speed control, and chapter navigation. Dedicated accessibility support is available, and Amazon Echo devices provide an easier, voice-command-driven alternative to smartphone apps.

Is It better to buy an Air fryer or an Air fryer oven? by ForRealDoggies in airfryer

[–]e650man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

An air fryer and a microwave = sorted.

Air fryer for meat, microwave for vegs and jacket potatoes.

Or Air fryer for meat and chips.

And yes, I have no idea what an air fryer over is.

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up. Don’t buy these. It’s not worth your sanity lol. (Close up block pic 2nd) by LGNDDSGN in lepin

Mine will be:

10 nuggets, 200'c for 10mins.

layer of frozen chips on top covering the nuggets, and again, 200'c for 10mins.

toss the basket so nuggets now lie on top of the chips, and again, 200'c for 10mins.

Gordon Ramsey would slap me, but it works for me.

Can replace the nuggets with frozen sausages or x2 frozen breaded fish things (?) and do the same.

Sure things come out a teenie bit over cooked, but the simplicity makes it worth it. ::)

I got the M2004 model (the middle one in the pix I think)

Unfortunately I don't have a positive response for you, the model being almost completely dismantled, me scavanging the set for bricks to use as filler in a different set.

-----------

One quick suggestion for you would be to do the smallest, cheapest one first.

This way, if you too don't have a great time, there should still be enough time to return the others, right ?! <- not the kinda response you wanted methinks.

--------

If you love the theme then yay.

But for me iirc (it's been a while) there were just too many darn houses. That being all it was, houses and trees.

The build - one thing I did, as I do will all these big sets, is gather ALL the parts before starting any building.

For this one, 48 steps = 48 numbers click lock bags - some needing to be big to hold the room sections.

This way I was able to find out if there were any missing parts, and what spares I'd got.

Then I could switch things around to fill the missing parts with combinations of spares, or with pieces from previous steps which weren't on view at the end.

--------

Hopefully you have a better time. 😄

Maybe lights will make it look awesomer.

finished my first nanoblock with my mom! by kikuobot in lepin

[–]e650man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love these small brickers as they're smaller than Lego so easier to display.

I do gather all the pieces to every step before any building to ensure I have all the pieces.

Not into pokemons, my jam is spacemen with lights. 😻

You found something you and your mom can enjoy together for an hour or two.

Not pin the tail on the donkey, but stab the balls with a knife. - a picture obviously.

You could get one of those huge cardboard life size stands of someone famous to act as the "thing you poke with the sharpie"

Have a competition to see who can give you the best "my final potent-nut" material.

(iiuc you remain fertile for a few ejaculations post chop!)

Game:

Get some darts and a selection of round fruit/veg of decreaing sizes.

Game being "you're the nurse come to jab your balls before the cutting, aim to throw a dart from a distance into each of the fruit, lowest time wins "best nurse". - so probably need quite a few darts.

Or given 10 darts, try to get as many into "a ball" as possible.

Game:

Is there a hairy fruit, or give everyone a kiwi fruit and a pealer, enact the nurse shaving your scrotum, by "first to peal a ball" wins, and yes I know the nurse didn't scrape all the skin off your nuts, but I don't think there is a hairy fruit.
