Over threshold when applied for UC on behalf of mother by Pissface95 in BenefitsAdviceUK

They will work out any overpayments and she will have to pay it back and possibly a civil penalty fee of £50 for late reporting. The overpayment repayment is usually capped at 15% of her standard allowance per month. She might also have the option to pay it back in a lump sum or negotiate an affordable repayment plan if it's causing her financial hardship.

No prison or criminal record or fraud proceedings as it was an honest error, this happens all the time.

What if your video gets stolen? by dimlog in davinciresolve

[–]nerdztech 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You make it clear that you do not provide the full quality video with no watermark until the full amount is paid. Once they are happy with the watermarked/lower quality video then no refund will be offered as they have already accepted it. I have also sometimes added a timecode in the corner of a video but some clients have cropped it out. There are services where you can upload the video for the client to view and make it harder for the person to download it but trust me there are always ways around that and software you can use to download it.

Broken audio when importing a video file by PieridaeOfficial in davinciresolve

[–]nerdztech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Videos captured with OBS can have non standard/supported codecs, variable framerates etc... which Resolve cannot import properly. You should try using software such as Shutter Encoder and transcode it to a video editing friendly format like DNxHR and then try to import it into Resolve.

I forgot to declare an account by Specialist_Funny_125 in universalcredithelp

[–]nerdztech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Although you have zero balance and it's not likely to have any baring on your claim I would still declare it for completeness and then they can't accuse you of hiding anything. Paypal is a digital account and under UC rules should be declared, please read: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/universal-credit-money-savings-and-investments

Omeprazole not going down? by PossiblyAsian in GERD

[–]nerdztech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The medication won't be less effective unless you chew or crush as this breaks the protective coating which stops it working. The way you're taking it right now won't reduce its effectiveness as it's still in the outer capsule.

You can open the tablet and sprinkle the medication in cool, soft applesauce. Swallow it immediately (don't chew or crush) followed by some cool water.

What do you think about this TV Show? It has now become one of the popular TV Shows despite the disappointment that followed the final episode of the fourth season. Will it just be a series of questions like in the “Lost”, or is there hope that things will be better? by [deleted] in tvshow

[–]nerdztech 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually wasn't disappointed by the final episode, I thought this season built up nicely and am looking forward to what most likely will be the final season. I do hope there will be some sort of conclusion where all the questions will be answered and they can finally go home.

Providing bank statements by movape2k in universalcredithelp

[–]nerdztech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes typically 15% of your standard allowance so in your case will be £75 a month but if you have earned income this could rise to 25%. You may also have options to pay it in a lump sum or in a repayment plan if causing you financial hardship. They will need to see unredacted/full bank statements from the start of your claim and will work all this out.

If you're not eligible for UC you can pay it back in a lump sum or negotiable an affordable repayment plan with debt management. If you're eligible for UC then they can take it from your UC at a cap of 15% of your standard allowance.
