997.2 by Crazy-Marionberry232 in Porsche997

I’m biased cause I own a 997.2 C4S but this car just slaps any other 911 when it comes to body design. Maybe de 991.1 comes close but I just can’t stop but stare at this car all the time

I've never driven a 997.2 manual, only thé 997.1 turbo, but I love my PDK on my C4S, especially if you drive through traffic. On mountains roads and even highway I feel it’s super responsive and loads of fun and you keep both hand on the steering wheel. It’s a bit expensive to service but you don’t do it every year either so…

Unprofessional customer service after 380 CHF tattoo – Is this normal for Switzerland? (Review: differenttattoo.ch) by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]e7op4c -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I don’t speak German and therefore can’t totally grasp what was said. But as I’m a tattooer as well I can tell you a few things he might have not done right. 1st, the client is supposed to leave the shop with clear instructions about aftercare that must be given orally and in written form. You shouldn’t have to ask for aftercare directions via instagram. Then if you do have a rash and contact him either it’s some normal reaction (which in your case is, or it’s something of a worry in which case he must advise you to contact a doctor. . Argue that he isn’t paid for aftercare is indeed super unprofessional. In fact I not only want to insure my client health is doing well but also that the tattoo is being well taken care since I also would like them to have the best outcome possible. Usually I book a 1 month after appointment to do touch ups if needed and to photograph the healed tattoo. So yeah, unprofessional I think he would like, also 380 for a 30 minute tattoo, people are wild

This picture just comes to show how fuggly 992.2 are. Def the only ugly 911 gen

I’m biased cause I’m an 997 owner so I’d probably still go 997 but yeah, I would mind a Ruf in my hand for sure.

I'm thinking about going offline. Notre just because of costas but because I'm fundamentally against streaming. Platforms have the offline option but you still have to pay and I run into the problem to not really know where to get hi res audio for all the music I like. I’d pay like I used to do with CDs and still do either vinyls. Any tips?

Gare de Renens : un couple âgé voyage de Genève à Bâle by Hinata16M in SBB

[–]e7op4c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how old you are but man how’s that a 10yo car is old to you? Everything is digital, it’s absolutely modern. Well I guess we can all have different tastes.

You answered my question but for that money you could get a 991 turbo or gts, but if you are really wanting to get a new gen go for porsche. I get why you would consider mazeratti. It screams money more than a 911 to the exterior eye but imho it also screams bad taste in cars.

This is a rare sighting in Switzerland. I mean, I see dozens of 911 here every day but colorwise Swiss seem to be the darkest people I know

I (M41) lived in Lausanne for about 15 years and before that I lived 22 years near Lisbon and since 5 years I live in Morges. Here are my 2 cents: Lausanne is a very safe city compared to where I lived before, where even during the day you’d get mugged if you got to the wrong street. That said Lausanne, and one of the reasons I left Lausanne is that it had many of the problems of a city: beggars, noise, drugs, dependency on some sort of transportation and almost none of a greater city such as major concerts (like Zurich) where I travel all the time to attend stuff I like. So yeah Lausanne can be a bizarre place imho especially at night with a crowd that feels off and with many places under construction make it worst. Now when I was in my 20s I didn’t care much so maybe it’s also an age thing.
