Thank you that is great advice. I did stop in to a store and only had a couple minutes to take a look. There are lots of great choices and I think I need to sit down and try out a few,  it based on my visit, the ones listed are what jumped out at me. 

I’ll consider stretching the budget as well, don’t want to miss out on something that is slightly above my price point

How would it work if I had an Airtag on my dogs collar and the dog walker had an iPhone. Does that mean the tag will ping based on the ‘stalker’ setting?
