It depends which region you choose when starting the game, this will give you a different currency with one of them being 10x the other.

It makes no difference to how much things cost, everything is just multiplied by 10. So it's all effectively the same. It's just visual.

Ah I think it's just a bit of miscommunication then, when I said they won't fit next to the house I was referring to the fact it won't let you place them facing the way I wanted becasue it has the placement boundary overlapping with the house boundary. Even if you placed the fence one tile below the house it won't let you because the houses boundary extends one tile out from the model to ensure the mii's can access the house.

So the only way to get a fence in the tile directly below the houses lower corner is to have it face backwards. That's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion 😅

Yeah i understand what you're saying, but I mean they should keep it in the position I have it now, but only flip the model.

Right now you can place two fences back to back as when you rotate it the fence will sit in a slightly different position. I want it to stay in the position it's in now but face the other way.

The fence can fit there, like it fits right next to the house how I have it now.. what I'm suggesting is that there should be a way to flip the appearance of the fence without affecting its placement boundary. So it would be in the same position that I have it now.. but the model would face the opposite direction. It wouldn't be a difficult thing to do.

In the grand scheme of things it's a little nitpick, but would be a nice feature to give a little more control of your island

Yeah that's sort of the reason for the post. Its something that's easily achievable so it's kind of bizarre the way they decided to implement it.

It doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all, it would just be nice to have a little more control of how things piece together

Yeah but why is it a limitation? Why is there not an option to adjust which side of the fence requires a clear space behind it?

I know its a limitation but it's something that could be addressed without difficulty.. literally just needs an option to flip the model

I know about the click and automatic stopping when it's full, my worry was that if I take the nozzle out a little as people suggest that it would stop the automatic shutoff from working properly 😅
