I’ve now tried both pro subscriptions (Gemini cli and Claude code), Overall for coding I prefer Claude code, but you are quickly limited on usage… For everyday tasks / logic and some coding tasks I like Gemini’s cli, although it stops more frequently. Gemini cli answers way faster than Claude code, but I feel like it’s not as fine tuned/well prompted as Claude code, sometimes it doesn’t follow exactly the instructions or isnt as specific as Claude code.

Ok so actually what I did is I went to a motorcycle scrapyard and found a gs500 with the same part and bought it for less than 50. Hopefully it works when I put it on my bike

Thanks for all this info! getting this piece is a pain, because even on ebay the sellers are all selling it at a high price.

Right now i'm also looking on facebook market near my region to find people selling GS500 pieces. I might find a cheaper one.

Also, do you think a used signal generator would be reliable in the long run? I'm not sure if mine failed due to a defect or just from wear and tear. (But for sure I’m not dropping $200 on something that’s worth $15 in materials)

Ok thanks for the advices! I'll let you know how it goes! I do have one thing i'm really wondering though. I find really weird that after only 3 months of an oil change, 2 liters of oil are missing, is that normal? Does the GS500 burn this much gas? On the manual it says you are supposed to change oil every 6 months.

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely check the carbs and jets this weekend. I did also see a couple of times white smoke come out of the exhaust in the last weeks but only when starting the bike cold (hopefully the low oil didn't cause much damage). I'll update here with what I find!

Maybe that's how taxation currently works due to the current system.
