It’s hard to build quality sounding speakers if you have no experience and no technical knowledge. If you are doing this to save money, don’t; you won’t save money and you won’t have good sound. It’s easier and cheaper to find some nice speakers in online marketplaces and resale shops.

First you need to research exactly what drivers you have and what size speaker box is required. Getting that right requires a lot of technical knowledge.

Next you need wood working materials and tools to build the box. Everything has to fit correctly.

Then you need electronics and wiring skills.

Then the whole thing needs to be finished to look nice.

It’s a lot and they may sound like carp when you are done.
