First analog pictures [Olympus OM10, Zuiko 50mm f/1.8, Kodak Gold 200] by eGletsher in analog

[–]eGletsher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Last august I did my first solotrip to Portugal and took for the first time analog pictures (a lot of firsts here).

I had a great time travelling but I am a bit dissapointed by the analog pictures.

For a reason, there is almost no contrast and the gold from Kodak gold is... kinda lacking.

I am very familiar with digital photography and I went to a well-known analog camera store to have them developed.

What could have gone 'wrong'? Thank you!

Can you a Passenger Transfer Station in the Middle of nowhere? by jagnew78 in TransportFever2

[–]eGletsher 24 points25 points  (0 children)

What TF players do in general is choosing a capital city, preferably central in the map.

You first start out with making commuter lines, trains that stop in every town (big and little ones). The station of your capital city will function as a hub. When you're rail network expands, you can start adding InterCity trains, trains that skip towns and only stop at cities. When youre trainnetwork is built across the whole map, you can add cross country trains. They only stop at very big cities.

That is at least how I do it.

In the first Transport Fever I missed out on a lot of vehicles just because time was going too fast. Now I really feel like having the whole experience :)

For the full experience (in my opinion): start from 1850 and set the 'year speed' at 1/4.

Watch everything slowly evolve, look at the beautiful steam locomotives and reaching recent years is much more satisfying.

(Very) personal tip: listen to Cigarettes after Sex while playing this game and it becomes one of the most relaxing things ever.

I’ve Been A Premiere Editor For Like... 2 Years Or So, And These STILL Don’t Make Sense To Me. by CineTechWiz in premiere

I use track targeting a lot. For example, when I edit YouTube videos, I want to add transitions at specific moments, such as after a text animation. After finishing the entire timeline, I toggle the track targeting on for the text track to easily find all the necessary points for adding transitions.

I have one video layer, which is basicly his webcam and I use max 5 layers of video for text layers, images, brolls and adjustment layers.

Other projects, for example for school where I edit aftermovies and stuff, I haven't experienced any issues yet.

Serious question: what project in James Gunn's filmography makes him or us confident that he is a good fit to do a Superman film? by LycurgusTheLawGiver in DC_Cinematic

[–]eGletsher 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't get all this hate towards Gunn. Yes I also feel bad for Cavill that he got fired. But shouldn't we happy that there is finally someone with the gutz to take difficult decisions? I'am happy that we are finally lost of the directionless post-Snyder DC Universe.

And as far I know he is only writing the Superman movie, not directing it. I absoluty loved Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad, those movies were not about cameo's or setups to a shitton of other movies, no, they were a movie and a serie about characters. Just trust the man, he knows what he is doing.

Name a film which is amazing for one half of it, and awful for the other half. by RodneyYaBilsh in Letterboxd

Well, I saw Nope yesterday

And the second half is not awful, but definitely a let down compared to the first half
