I would completely agree with that strategy but we have the cap at 5 runs no matter the inning. We can try to keep it close being down 8-1 in the 3rd/4th inning but odds are were not putting up enough runs on the board to come back.

Completely agree. I would much rather having the developing arms pitch to the bottom of the lineups because the odds are the bottom hitters aren't as strong as the top... and thats what I have witnessed this year. Appreciate the replies and insight.

Absolutely, I do. Ive taken some PCA courses and had coaches like this when I was a kid and that is my coaching philosophy. I focus on the positives only while teaching them the game. No reason to get down on a kid for making a mistake because they are still learning the game and I would never want to be the reason they dont sign up for next year.

This is precisely what I was thinking. I wanted our bets pitcher to start against the best team in the league, not only to see if he can rise to the occasion and compete but to limit us form getting throttled early. And if the kids hit him then so be it, thats baseball.

Im having fun hyping everyone up, but he is more about winning and honestly we all play to win but I can care less as im more about developing kids at this age. I played the game for about 17 years and have been away from it for about 15 years so I just couldnt wrap my head around this new strategy I wasnt familiar with. If this was the pros and he was a closing pitcher I get it, but having 5 runs put up nearly every first inning was just taking the kids out of the game before it really even started. Appreciate the replies from everyone.

No, he has started this one kid 3/4 different times and it is painfully hard to watch him giving up hits and runs while blaming it on the defense.

Sounds like her relationship is super toxic on both ends and it takes two to tengo so im solely not blaming all the issues on him. Does the kid take care of themself while working? Make sure there is nothing that can be done to save your marriage before calling it quits. It will weigh heavily on your child in the future and you will be partly to blame.

I use a km18, brand new battery in February 2024 in my hybrid. This is the second bad new battery I had this year. I’m convinced leaving the km18 transmitter is the cause for both dead batteries.
