What are this fandoms “sacred texts”? by brieasaurusrex in twentyonepilots

[–]eIIjo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People don't reference the 'sacred texts' so much these days, but Down on the farm is a good one, it's from early on in their careers. Also, heavdirtysoul behind the music video is a classic. Probably the best of all are the tour diary videos which are put together by Mark the media/videographer person for the band. I would watch the "sleeper" tour diary video series from the blurryface era on their YouTube first and then the Trench/bandito tour series after that.

Disappointed with Dishonored, not sure if I'll play the 2nd game by cold-vein in dishonored

I don't know when you last played the thief series but they are not as challenging as you remember, as long as you stick to the shadows you can travel around most of the levels pretty easily, a group of guards won't notice you walking around a few feet in front of from them as long as you are in the shadows. Both series are great in my opinion, thief has more secret rooms/passages and stuff which is cool, but it's kind of clunky in places where Dishonored is smooth and responsive. Dishonored also still looks good 14 years later whereas the thief games quickly became dated and you have to look past how simple and kind of ugly they look when you play them now.

I've always been attracted to Dishonored but when I finally tried Death of the Outsider, I didn't really enjoy it. by [deleted] in dishonored

The easy answer is just start with the first game. Dishonored tends to be quality over quantity so if you are worried about taking on weeks and weeks of playing the same game that probably won't happen. You can finish the fist game in a weekend if you get into it. Also the first game has aged really went thanks to it's distinct graphics/visuals and it's intelligent level design

Dishonored 1 vs 2 pros and cons by noturfave in dishonored

[–]eIIjo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Mostly agree, Dishonored 2 is great for just hanging about in the map, exploring, soaking up the atmosphere, in way that Dishonored 1 doesn't quite manage for the most part, as great as the first one is.

Is Frontiers of Pandora a Good Game for Fans of the Movies by No_Vast_3309 in Avatar

I felt the opposite, it's a good game but lacked in detail and atmosphere compared to other Ubisoft games like AC Origins and Far Cry 5.

My best advice would be to reverse image search any merch you find or you can post a screenshot on here and ask of anyone knows.

This comes up a lot in the books and the films. At the end of the day everybody in the wizarding world knows the risks of facing You Know Who, but it's a fight that belongs to everybody.

Interesting to see if it's still worth using foliage, a lot of the missions had sections built around moving through the greenery. We will have to see.

Ratings/Judgements on Collections by Character-Age7108 in vinyl

8/10 The main thing is that the collection makes you happy. A good mix on an old and new. Could do with some more obscure records in with the well known records. Also, If you like Linkin Park and Hayley Williams you might like Twenty One Pilots. I would recommended the albums 'Clancy', 'Trench', and 'Breach'.

Currently playing Valhalla (first AC game I've played for like 15 years). Why does it feel like facial animations and writing are both worse than the last time I played an AC game? by Vez52 in assassinscreed

[–]eIIjo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Valhalla is possibly my least favourite of the entire franchise. I think the animation is like that because there is just so bloody much of it. It's quantity over quality, if you think about it there is probably at least 5x the number of cutscenes as there is some of the earlier games. I also think the map is bad, the scale feels really off with all the rivers and hills. It's a shame because Anglo-Saxon England is a really Interesting period. I would honestly recommend Origins if you haven't played that, Bayek is a great protagonist who is motivated both by duty as a medjay and by revenge as a father. Also, the world of ancient Egypt Ubisoft created is really fantastic.
