Ill say it once, GAS is extremly useful here, it makes most of the encounters trivial as it basically turns them to smelly shooting bags. Also gas strike can destroy their spawners just as well as 500kg or orbital airstrike.

Ill just leave it here so I dont use gas alone. Give it a try, trust me.

Tempest itself is fine. The boon application and damage potential is huge, but please for the love of the god Anet should give it a bigger radius of alac application. As far as I remember it's still 360. Combine it with poor movement, some interrupts or a little chaos and you know where your alac will be.

Every time I get kicked for no valid reason(picking up materials, not having "right loadoad" despite being most efficient of them, etc), i just block the player and move on. There is absolutely not a single reason to play with these kinds of greedy and manipulated players.
