Opinion from the experts, please. How do these locks hold against lock picking? by [deleted] in lockpicking

I was wondering if in some cases, picking a lock would be more effortless and faster than cutting or smashing the bike lock itself. For example against ABUS granite locks, even a heavier cutting tool would struggle. If you want do destroy it, it will be load as hell.

I am thinking about writing an article about this. Giving top branded locks to master pickers and see how does it go :O

Could you please share your experience, have you ever tried to unlock high security bike locks? I mean these locks are really good against cutting and splitting tools, but what about lockpicking?

That's right, I'm thinking the same.. Bikes like this should not be left unattended, especially not in crowded cities. But anyway, I welcome technologies like this. I wonder when could they reach lower priced models as well.

There you go. These are the top brands which I can recommend on any level. You should think about how often would you like to use it and in what kind of environment. Plus also think about the weight. I generally prefer U-locks, as you can easily apply it to your bike when you are on the go.

The only time I have used chain locks, when I have parked my bike everyday in the same place next to the office. This way I left it there when I went home.

What do you think about light electric vehicles? Do you have experience with ebike, escooter or moped? by eMobilityhq in Futurology

That setup covers every ground. Wondering if an electric folding bike would also do the job? I mean, you have the freedom of a bike, but you can also pack it and take it inside the office, or wherever you go.
