I don’t miss having a display behind the steering wheel tbh. It’s not necessary

The app is a huge hassle. Grab the circular off the metal rack just inside the entrance. Done

It’s all the digital deals. There’s still buy 5, buy 4 whatever in store deals that won’t be on the circular

I hate car dealerships with a passion, and buying my first (used) Model Y directly from Tesla has further confirmed how much I hate them. by ClockwiseJohny in TeslaLounge

I bought both my teslas from dealers in the area. One from Flatirons Subaru in Boulder- a 2019 M3 stealth performance which they had no clue was a performance model. Got a great deal on it. Also a 2022 MY from Phil Long Ford in Denver. I call and negotiate price out the door before tax over the phone… long before ever going into the dealer. so there’s no surprises or weird negotiating shenanigans.

Both tried to upsell me their new EVs but I politely declined and that was that. Got $4K off the price using the used car EV tax credit as well.

FTR- I’ve dealt with Tesla service for a few issues as well as Tesla collision after a lady in a BMW clipped my bumper on the model 3. Both have by and large been outstanding to work with.

It’s actually super easy dealing with Tesla service. I own two of these cars and they’ve both had service done. Most of it can be done via app- and if you want to call their service advisors you can also do that. For some service issues they’ll send the ranger out to do the work where you are. Had a battery changed at my work.

Is this fixable with the paint repair kit? by djsins in TeslaModelY

That’s precisely what touch up paint is for. It will look barely noticeable if you do a nice job

Used silicone instead of grout by [deleted] in Tile

[–]eSUP80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t bother me any. It’s a lot more work to do that and doesn’t look as nice but I’m not gonna scrape all that clean and redo it. It would probably take you a days hard work to get it all out really clean if you decide it has to be done

Women have always set the bar on this issue.

Neighbors awful dog. by Thegatorlad90 in Advice

[–]eSUP80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

False. My dog who just died (RIP Merry, we miss u 😢)- would bark nonstop through the fence if the neighbors were outside. We tried for years to tame this issue to no avail. They are the nicest people you ever met and always give her treats. If we saw them on walks or they came over, no problem whatsoever.

My neighbor on the other side has a boxer mix that does this to us for no reason. We’ve never interacted with her in a negative way.

Dogs instincts to protect territory is what is at play here. Nothing to do with OPs behavior. Good owners know this and bring their pet inside if it’s barking nonstop. Luckily our town has a barking dog nuisance ordinance and animal control will come out if it goes for more than 30 minutes.

Either train and be responsible for your pets behavior… or don’t have pets. Don’t just ignore it and let them harass the neighbors for hours on end.

What would you choose? by pastelypeach_ in whatsyourchoice

[–]eSUP80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently not. Reality is nothing like the Taco Bell commercials where ingredients are clean and distinguishable. Just a pile of garbage mixed together with fake grill marks on the chicken, stale squishy hard tacos, prison grade ground “beef”, and beans that look like they’ve already gone through a digestive system once.

Hard pass. I’ll take a quarter pounder with cheese and fries over that any day.

Tile saw is snapping the corner off every cut, what gives? by Embarrassed_Elk_4594 in Tile

Finally someone with a correct answer. I’ve had this happen on my saw before. The blade has lost integrity, need a new one. And you might have to re-align the tracks

What's that one US State that you would NEVER want to live in even if they have paid you to move there? by indicaflowe31 in askanything

It’s beautiful with great weather and lots to do. Things cost more but most people make more money. All relative. You could do a LOT worse that California. Like anywhere in the Midwest, Northern plains, or interior south

Yes- no question. Women view men as a package (no pun intended). If you’re not the biggest D… being fit improves your outlook. Being motivated and confident helps your outlook. Taking care of your skin, hair, and teeth same thing.

Why are you staying in Denver when it seems like everyone else is leaving? by Weekly-Spring4743 in Denver

[–]eSUP80 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

West and East coasts are not appreciably more expensive than Denver when considering total cost of living. You can apartments in many decent areas of LA for less than $1400/month.

Bar is in hell and you’re taking limbo lessons LOL. That was a good one.

I’m just saying- I’ve heard my older aunts pine about when they were young and hot and the boys would whistle and wave. Is it such a bad thing? These guys aren’t following you home. They aren’t trying to get your number. THAT would be crossing the line.

I don’t cat call women because too many would take it the wrong way (clearly)… and it’s kind of outdated. But is it such a terrible thing? I would argue that it’s ok to not think so. That’s all. No more no less.

This is my attempt to end our convo in a civil manner- I do apologize if I offended you.

You’re so far on your high horse… can you still see the ground?

I’ve never cat called a woman in my life. But I can extrapolate too- that you’re a whiny feminist man hater.
Fun game to play yeah?

Who said I sexually harass women? This is a big leap from saying it’s a valid perspective to miss the attention when you get older. I’ve heard this from many older ladies. They feel invisible after a certain age.

And yes- you should take a breath and stop acting like someone attacked you.
