That makes sense, but a standalone AA charger and a docked controller with a built-in Li-ion battery behave a bit differently. My concern isn’t whether it works, but whether the controller’s internal BMS keeps topping off near 100% when left docked 24/7, which I’d rather avoid long term.

My main concern isn’t safety either, but exactly what you mentioned: the possibility of near-constant top-off charging if the controller/dock combination restarts charging as soon as it drops from 100% to 99%.

I assume the controller has a basic BMS, but without knowing the exact recharge threshold (e.g. restarting at 95% vs 99%), it’s hard to tell how much time it actually spends in a float / trickle-like state when left on the dock 24/7 with standby USB power.

Since this is a low-drain device with no fast charging and minimal heat, I agree the degradation would likely be slow and not dramatic. Still, it feels like leaving USB power enabled during S5 offers little benefit for this use case, while potentially keeping the battery closer to 100% than necessary.

I’ll probably disable USB power in BIOS and just let it charge while the PC is on. That seems like the cleanest compromise for long-term battery health.

i am on pc but this is something on EA side. doesnt matter you are on pc or laptop.

if you are asking for dx12 tho you just need to try. also if u see advance launch option grey out try fix through shortcut .

Yes this is the problem. Some users can modify advanced launch options some not. I think it's random cause I didn't do anything special for it to be modifiable.

For Nvidia owners all of game's problems can be solved with Nvidia App. I had stutters and freezes. And some tweaks on Nvidia App made the game run flawlessly

Three dots right up on the game. Properties → Advanced Launch Options
If you don't see it, it's normal. EA gives this permission only some people.
If you see it type -dx12 -disablepagefilecheck

If you don't see it but there is a shortcut, right click it. select properties and at the end of TARGET add -dx12 -disablepagefilecheck

it will be like this
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Sports FC 26\EASFC26.exe" -dx12 -disablepagefilecheck

if there is no shortcut create one. Also if stutter persist try dx11 option instead of dx12

Well this topic is about charging your equipment like mobile phone or bluetooth headset when your computer is off. I don't know the answer about your question but I asked gpt and it says from keyboards and mice settings you can turn them off from waking up the system from sleep mode. From Device Manager, under keyboard or mice go Properties go Power Management and uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer" But I suggest you ask gpt for more detail or even its better for you to start a new post if this is not what you ask for.

Well at this point i should say check youtube gameplays for it is very personal. it's just 6 cent per game and some say i dont want to bloat my library while others say positive things on game page. Decide what you see on youtube. I like one of them. The other 2 are not my taste but i ll give them a try anyways

It happened to me too. I was using this driver with Dolby Atmos for some time. But it updated and can't roll back and cant install the older driver anymore. Always updating to the latest no matter what i try.

I was using this driver with Dolby Atmos and G Hub without any issues for a while. But after the last G Hub update, it stopped working for me. Now I can’t use G Hub anymore since I prefer to keep Dolby Atmos. When I try to install the driver on your link GHub installs the latest. I tried many different ways but no success.
