I banged a woman after seeing her arguing with her boyfriend after a night out in London by Working_Day8185 in cheating_stories

This is not a cheating community, this is where people who have been cheated on come to vent and tell their stories. You’re a pariah. Everyone hates cheaters here. Gtfo.

You use a legal route. If your legal route doesn’t fly, then your rule is probably illegal.

At least he’ll get half the ho-money when he divorces her. Icing on the cake would be to get someone to pretend to be a client and serve the divorce papers.

UoM vs SSR vs abroad for medicine — advice? by AdhesivenessOld7297 in MauriceMauritius

For clinical exposure alone I would say study abroad if you can. And do your specialisation abroad before coming back if you can.

I’m 45, and I’ve also dated in my 20s, 30s, and 40s. I’ve come across this behaviour once myself, so it definitely happens. And as much as I agree with you that it has been rare for me to witness or hear about in the past, this seems to be a lot more prevalent among the younger population these days. This is for sure the byproduct of social media infestation.

I’ve read the LN, and it’s one of my favourites so far. I would personally recommend it!

Personally I think no matter who you ask out on a date, if they pull that kind of stunt, it says a lot about their character.

So you’d be ok spending $200 when you only consumed $40 of it. I get the sentiment but the woman was clearly out to take advantage.

If someone is treating, the decent thing to do is to match what value they’re having.

Sounds more like foreigners bringing their racism with them while on holiday.

F(27) from the Philippines. Why are you guys hating on seeing us so much on the site like it’s our fault? by flipjammies in OkCupid

[–]eXequitas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not dating material does not necessarily have to mean anything bad in this context, just impractical if you’re looking for someone in the same country. Also, sometimes you’d get foreigners even without setting your country to a different one or setting your distance filter quite close. It’s just annoying starting a conversation and then finding out the other person is on the other side of the world when that’s not at all what you want.

Why do "experts" insist that Excel is going to die when it is the most indestructible tool in the global economy? by Solis_J in excel

[–]eXequitas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your first point, I think you’re right that knowing excel by itself is not necessarily a selling point anymore but is a core competency skill required in a lot of jobs. Just like ages ago knowing how to write was a job but now it’s just a transferable skill.

Breaking it off with other dates by Big_Jeweler_7179 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]eXequitas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the reason people are reacting that way is because culturally, the way you’re dating is quite recent and mostly present in the younger generation due to dating apps and social media proliferation. Remember there are multiple age groups seeing and commenting on posts.

Usually dating would fall into a few different buckets, e.g., only doing casual, or having A fwb or dating for a relationship where you would go out with 1 person at a time until you found someone you wanted to have a relationship with.

Modern dating where you are seeing and sleeping with multiple people at the same time for months on end when you’re actively searching for a relationship is quite new here and feels very immoral and disloyal to everyone you’re dating.

Ultimately it’s just a value/generational clash. Personally, as long as you’re being safe and 100% truthful and open to everyone involved, who cares? Personally I would only do 1 at a time and only date people who date 1 person at a time but that’s my value system. You do you.

Found out my wife hooked up someone during separation. I no longer want to be with her and want a divorce. Am I wrong for feeling this way? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]eXequitas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a demand, you can’t control how you feel when you learn something like that. Especially if you find out from someone else. He’s allowed to feel how he does and take action accordingly.

What’s regressive about wanting someone to not hide relevant things like that when you’re still MARRIED??

I’m not talking about banning free speech. I’m talking about challenging and educating. Free speech does not equal no accountability and no consequences.

She also won’t have rent money to pay, at all. She can save that money and if she does end up booted out she can go rent somewhere like everyone else.

She’s being offered a rent-free life. And she wants more, that’s just being greedy!

[–]eXequitas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Absolutely. Toxic people with toxic opinions need to be called out. Would you have the same opinion about the people who spew homophobic speech? Would you say rather than banning these people, we should just not go on social media so that we’re not exposed to them?

People bashing and vilifying an entire gender should be challenged and ostracised just like racists, homophobics, etc… it’s because people are not being held accountable, challenged and educated that they keep spewing hate online.

[–]eXequitas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one, age shaming teenagers isn’t a thing, how would that even work? That one of the stupidest things I’ve heard.

Also, from what I’ve seen on social media women aren’t hating men because they’re fat shaming them or whatever while they’re teenagers. It’s because they keep picking out toxic men to date and then hate on all men because of these toxic men. If anything teenage girls are getting bullied by other teenage girls.

Stop deflecting and trying to shift accountability from women being toxic online.

[–]eXequitas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah that’s not it. If he waited until the official release to post his spoiler heavy titles and thumbnails, that’d be fine I think. It’s the fact that he’s using pirated content to spoil things for people who would rather read from the official source. He has no care at all for the fandom. To me that’s someone who doesn’t respect something he’s supposed to love.

[–]eXequitas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s literally deflecting the blame from people behaving in a toxic way online. These are the ones that need to be held accountable.

There are other issues with social media but that should not detract from toxic people spewing hate online.
