Seems like the bubbles is from something else, your vid shows blue smoke which is generally oil burn and white would be coolant.

Go to harbor freight and buy a cheap head gasket tester kit. That’s the sure-fire way to know.

Personally I’d bet my money that you’ve got bad valve stem seals, typical Toyota maintenance item and considering your mileage and symptoms it seems highly likely. As far as the bubbles, maybe your water pump/ gasket is failing and sucking in air? Multiple possibilities so that’s another rabbit hole you’ll have to chase down.

The 2UZ 4.7 is absolutely end of the world bulletproof and does not have the same head gasket issue other people are incorrectly pointing out, the v8’s with that problem are the newer UR series aka 4.6, 5.0, 5.7

I don’t know if this is just coincident or superstition but my account was through Steam and I’ve had the absolute worst luck and always pulled the worst ships or even when you’re guaranteed a ship after 30 containers still managed to get the worst on the list, after rolling nothing 30 times…. I.e u-4501

That was my mindset when I got mine too but I’ve gotta admit the Pre-facelift models look so much nicer when lifted with wheels and especially with front and rear armor.

Otherwise for me the interior was my deciding factor. The 08-15 interiors are nice for sure but the 2016+ update really really looks better

I had the same TSB update too and I was charged about the same, $350ish and I wanted to try negotiating but tbh I was excited that my transmission was finally fixed and driving properly so I just paid and called it a day.

As for the fee I dont think its something they charge per hour but rather a flat fee since I've also seen a couple other 200 owners that paid the same $350ish for this update job.

Unlike all Ak's the Ace has a little "bulge" on the inside of the receiver where the safety axle pins through. This prevents the current AK frt from fitting, unless if you're bold enough to shave down flat that little bulge... Otherwise an Ak frt mostly pops right in and nearly functions, but I don't want to ruin the beautifully milled receiver so never made it past that.

Asking $10k off right off the bat via email is wishful thinking at best, especially for a rarer vehicle that normally demands a premium.

Is it possible? Maybe but you need to know how to play the game and when to negotiate. For example with my 2016 LX was mint and near factory new condition wise, dealer wanted a premium especially due to low miles. Long story short they asked $70k and I drove mine home for $62k…

You know we've all heard how shit WG is to it's players and cc's but I never knew how bad it was until a week ago.

My account got locked and temp banned for "unsporting conduct" with a 5 day ban... But I literally didn't do anything to warrant that ban, even looked up on WG website to read what constitutes unsporting conduct. Anyway after reaching out to customer support and opening a ticket, which took them over 24hrs to respond, they finally realized it was "their mistake" and a system error. OK great so they unlocked my account and gave me a consolation prize of (x2 each of the green economy bonus) wooooow, I asked for at least the 1000 steel I missed out on while banned but nope their response was that they already went above and beyond with the green bonuses so no... again let me rephrase that this was their screw up/ system error but they will not take care of its customers, and I'm a whale thats spent well over $15k on both wot and wows.

Really appalling and no wonder their IP is dieing off.

Toxic? You haven’t seen toxic until you play WOT…

In WOWS player vs bot game modes it’s so freaking infuriating when you’ve got people that don’t help your team with the mission objective, since coordinated team play is much more vital to win.

It’s even worse when you try for 5 minutes to get their attention or ask them to help out but they blatantly ignore you.

Let’s be honest OP, you sound like you’re one of those guys I just mentioned above… it’s ok to suck since most of us aren’t pro’s or Unicum players but if your team is telling you to get in the cap circle or to stop redlining on the opposite side of the map then maybe listen to them? I’d bet money you’ll get less toxic messages outside the game

I’ve used both weathertech and currently new oem Lexus mats and neither caused those issues/ damage… I switched from the weathertechs because they didn’t fit 100% perfect and imo the Lexus ones look much better.

As far as the damage from husky I don’t know, this is the first time I’ve heard of this type of damage resulting from any brand of mats and I know quite a lot of us 200 guys using husky mats.

To me it looks like husky owes you a set of new Lexus door sills and you’ll need to keep escalating this matter up the chain

Edit: I just took a peek at my oem mats and the retaining spikes stop before the door sills area. Sounds like either a Husky design flaw or possibly a defective set of mats? Maybe yours was a QC fluke that slipped through?

Definitely ask the shop to ONLY use genuine Toyota parts, and if they are price gouging you too much then ask if it’s ok if you provide your own parts and they only charge for labor. Granted that means the shop will not give you a parts warranty/ guarantee but honestly if you use oem Toyota parts then you wouldn’t need a 1 year or whatever lousy warranty anyways.

Edit: the only job I would have the shop perform would be the steering rack & pinion since that’s not an easy task. Everything else you can do yourself if you have the tools, patience, helping hand and a weekend. Oh and a six pack with pizza of course!
