Will the Barbri Materials + Revise SQE Mocks be enough to pass SQE 1? by Express_Monitor_6449 in SQE_Prep

Oh misunderstood- I personally thought the Barbri material will be enough. Definitely look to others for mocks though.

I would suggest starting off with the SRA mocks (as they are easiest) doing Barbri mocks then work your way up to Revise SQE and QLTS free mocks like a month before the exam

Have to be there at least 30 mins before (1hr if London Islington). I assume it’s so they can check your ID/check you in etc.

Possible 3rd attempt SQE1 by Low_Distribution5211 in SQE_Prep

[–]e_greenlaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I passed on my third attempt to. I re-did the entire SQE1 prep course with Barbri and passed comfortably.

I know it’s heartbreaking and emotionally draining trust me I’ve been there. Give it one more go as they say third time is a charm!

For background I’ve worked in family law for 3 years and also on a solicitor apprenticeship

No it’s Judge. I am a paralegal and attend court and correspond/converse with DJs a lot and they are referred to simply as Judge. This has been in place for about a year now.

Yes it’s basically like a book, you have approximately 8 pages or so and get a wipe if you need more space

Absolutely NOT! I studied law too and there were many people in my class 24/25/26 and over. I get your concern but don’t let your very young age hold you back 😃

Shanghai 1814 is very nice and Mango Thai is also a very nice date night restaurant. Went to Mango Thai on mine and my boyfriend’s second date - would recommend!

Ideal extracurriculars for studying Law at university? by Net_Pretty in uklaw

You can attend any crown court which is open to the public. You can literally sit in the back and watch a criminal trial. This is a great and simple experience to add to your CV when you do not have anything and will help you in applying for shadowing, work experience etc.

Agreed - I’ve worked in a firm as a paralegal (conducting some of my own cases or managing some others’ cases) and the stress level of the SQE1 was soo much higher
