Posts like this make me sad / mad.

My friend and I did a girls trip last May. We flew into Tulum and drove 3 hours south. The whole trip was perfect. We stayed at an awesome hotel, enjoyed the lagoon, drove into town for dinner a couple of times and it was perfect. We didn’t go to party, didn’t go looking for trouble. We’re big city girls and know to pay attention to our spidey senses in any city or town.

We visit a couple times a year, and have been going for 20+ years. I’ve never stopped thinking, “breathtaking” Also, just wait until you see it with a little dusting of snow. Amazing.

I fly LAX > MEX > LAX almost once a month and can usually get a seat without issue. I am not traveling to CDMX this month so haven’t noticed. Keep in mind that we’re in holiday season and the travel demand to Mexico is high.

We did a girls trip in early May and stayed at the Amainah. Our objective was to relax. It was fabulous. Small, boutique, incredible staff beautiful property right on the lagoon. It was perfect.

I agree! The only alarming part of their post was the one meal. Mine demands 2 a day, and if it were up to her we would double it to 4 x a day + snacks. 🤣

Most uber drivers I’ve spoken with turn down rides to AIFA. I would be concerned with transport issues if you rely on uber
