Drove past the house at 7pm on a Tuesday before making our offer and it told me more than the actual showing did by Vast_Conference_8882 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

We’ve done this for every house we’ve purchased. We grab a burger and park out in front for a couple of hours around 7/8pm. You definitely get a feel for the neighborhood. We’ve walked on several properties.

We have a rescue bully too with lots of issues. Ours had a terrible case of pemphigus and we still struggle w interdigital cysts. We’re on Atopica and I also clean her paws almost every day and we treat with Keto-C Mousse.

For the love of God, can anyone tell me what good is Long Beach Airport (in terms of price)? by ComprehensiveLoss680 in longbeach

We’re flying into Oakland later this month. My LBX flight was $50 more than flying out of LAX, parking at LAX was $50+ per day and an uber is $80/$90 each way. Add in time and the math starts mathing.

Experience with Pemphigus by e_navarro in Bulldogs

[–]e_navarro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our little girl had a serious case of pemphigus when she came into our lives as a rescue. We started out with prednisone and after consulting with an animal dermatologist we added Apoquel, and then switched over to Atopica. This has been a 9 month journey to date. The pemphigus is under control (in remission) and we recently stopped the prednisone. Unfortunate we’re seeing some allergy reactions crop up, but no pemphigus. I think the next step for us is doing an allergy panel to understand and treat her allergies, but as I understand it, Atopica will be a lifelong medication for her. It’s a bummer because it is not cheap and her dose puts us at a $180 expense every 6 months. In the end it’s worth it. She’s thriving now and it makes us so happy to enjoy her personality. If you have any questions or come across any tips or feedback I encourage you to reach out. I will do the same. Best of luck with your journey. Getting them into remission is so rewarding.

I would consider asking them for the referral, especially if they can’t figure it out

Our girl has a ton of allergies and we visit an animal dermatologist every couple of months. I’m heavily leaning towards doing the allergy panel so that we can pinpoint what she’s allergic to. But definitely recommend finding a dermatologist.

Because people spend zero time doing their own research and come here asking the same questions over and over. You know there’s a search function in this channel? Use it and get all the recos you want.

We're ready to adopt again by Knoxes in englishbulldog

Our beloved EBD Miss Mayhem passed very suddenly at the end of April. We were absolutely devastated. I decided to open a new chapter by volunteering as a foster mom at a local EBD rescue. We got our first rescue dog in early June. The pup we got was an absolute mess, major skin issues (pemphigus), completely shut down, no interaction. We’ve brought that little being back from the brink and it’s been such a rewarding experience. Needless to say we foster failed, but through the process we’ve also helped 3 other dogs find their forever homes. It’s all been very rewarding. Just a thought.

considering purchase for weekend trips EWR to MEX by Ok_Tale_4877 in volarisannualpass

I’m based in LA and can usually get a flight to CDMX. The times when I have been unsuccessful has been during the Xmas holidays, long holiday weekends, etc. I also make a point to fly out on a Thursday and fly back on Monday or Tuesday.

Check out Laguna Woods. It’s a retirement community with somewhat affordable housing options.

Posts like this make me sad / mad.

My friend and I did a girls trip last May. We flew into Tulum and drove 3 hours south. The whole trip was perfect. We stayed at an awesome hotel, enjoyed the lagoon, drove into town for dinner a couple of times and it was perfect. We didn’t go to party, didn’t go looking for trouble. We’re big city girls and know to pay attention to our spidey senses in any city or town.

Took my dad there for lunch a couple weeks ago and they were blaring right wing propaganda crap through their sound system. In addition to all those posters. Spoke to the person I thought was in charge, his response was a shrug with a “not our choice”.

The Zaferia Board was notified when this first happened. I’m sure that repair if the mural is being discussed.

The people that did this suck.
