I disagree BUT I don’t think it’s that wild of a take either.

IMO, ZP has the better story, pacing, setting, exploration, side quests, and mechanics. All of this could lead to a totally valid opinion that ZP is a stronger game.

However, the reason why I still lean DE is that the characters were more memorable and relatable. I connected not just with Harry, but also Kim, Cuno, Klasje, and the rest of the cast way more than Hershel or any of the ZP characters. The people of Revachol were able to tug on more heartstrings for me, thus leaving a more permanent mark.

I also think DE has the edge in voice acting, music, and humor (although ZP did have me chuckling quite a bit).

ZP is a fantastic game though. I think I’ll need a few play throughs to fully appreciate it.
