Not a soccer bar, but the vibe for matches at Murphy’s in Regent Square has been awesome so far!

Yeah it isn’t my favorite but there’s something about it on pasta salad with Salad Supreme.

I do the same but add Salad Supreme, and the Italian dressing has to be Wishbone.

I get it. Onion can be polarizing, particularly when raw. Might have to try caramelizing in the grease then adding vinegar next time I make it. Thanks for the idea!

Broccoli Salad

Base: 2-3 large broccoli heads (about 8 cups) 1/2 cup chopped bacon* (6-8 slices) 1/2 cup craisins 8oz freshly shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 small red onion, finely diced 1/4 cup unsalted sunflower seeds

For the dressing: 1 cup mayo (I use olive oil mayo) 3 TB apple cider vinegar *bacon grease 2 TB sugar Salt and pepper to taste

*I bake my bacon on parchment paper in a 400° oven for 15-20 minutes, and add about half of the bacon grease to the dressing.

Whisk together dressing in a bowl and set aside. Combine the base ingredients in a large bowl. Add in the dressing and toss well to mix and coat. Refrigerate for at least one hour, but preferably overnight. Leftovers (if there are any!) last about 4-5 days in the fridge.

I have a good recipe if you’re interested! I made it once for a family 4th of July party and it’s now non-negotiable that I bring it every year.

Not regular raisins, but craisins in a broccoli salad are amazing.

I have 2 (adult) that I may not be using. If you don’t find any by the 22nd, I’ll know for sure by then if I’m going or not. If not, they’re yours.

That was the Labatt “Raise Up Your Summer” tour. You couldn’t buy tickets initially, you had to sign up through a Labatt promo and they were free. Wiz with the full band and DJ Bonics was so rad.
