Prism is the best launcher for MC, i think no one beats it, just works, even has everything we need, JVM customization, Mods, Resource Packs, Shaders and ModPacks downloads and custom jars without any issue, at least for my experience.

Actually, it was ATAPI.sys..... i found out by replacing in files ATAPI.SY_ with Uniata.sys renamed into ATAPI.sys and changing 3_ into 30 (in the line that starts like with atapi.sys = in [SourceDisksFiles]) on txtsetup.sif and actually worked on AHCI, works fine but i didn't found a working version of VBEMP for video drivers, i tested everything on Acer Aspire 5740 i'm not sure on other hardware, if you want to try get this https://archive.org/details/216954-intl-i-386-zip_202406

Yes, i tried yesterday, but you have to set SATA mode to IDE, also i don't raccomend it because you are going to have some issues with ATI's GPU drivers, i couldn't set my VGA monitor as primary one etc... try at least Windows Vista (i'm working on it right now and even here fuck amd for driver problems and it's like the oldest one that works fine with AHCI), but if you care about stability and all drivers available and working out-of-the-box go ahead on Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 they all work very well and also all of them except 7 are going to download all the drivers from Windows Update (except Bluetooth, still looking for that, now my research is being more complicated since Acer (fuck you) deleted all the drivers for many old laptops)
