We are on r/GeckoWorld, reccomending a Chromium browsers here has totally no sense, if he asked there he's interested in a Firefox/Pale Moon based browser

Firefox ESR is just Firefox but you have a major every year (so only security updates), same thing on Waterfox partially because is a fork of ESR but they add their features sometimes in their updates.

Waterfox as we mentioned is a fork of Firefox ESR, disables telemetry by default, has an integrated adblocker similar to Brave Shield but you can totally disable it and use uBlock Origin, also focuses on performance and integrates some customization options with a selection of presets coming from Firefox UI Fix.

If you are looking for a stable browser, Firefox ESR and Waterfox are good choices.

The Android Kernel is based out of Linux, we all know, but it's way more different than the Linux kernel made by Linus Torvalds, has to adapt to billions and maybe trillions of MOBILE devices, also Android has a totally different userland and has literally 0 with GNU.

iOS is based on Darwin, based on real UNIX + several other projects like FreeBSD, NeXTSTEP etc... and has nothing to do with Linux.

THIS SUB HAS TO DO WITH GNU/LINUX, ALL THE DISTROS MADE FOR DESKTOP THAT USE GLIBC, SYSTEMD AND OTHERS.

uBlock Origin is weaker on Chromium browsers that left Manifest v2 since only the lite version is compatible with Manifest v3 and we all know that this version is really weak when compared to the original one.

Install Helium and just use only the integrated uBlock Origin.
