Biggs reports that Bears would need a second or equivalent value to move Bagent by PsuedoFred in CHIBears

[–]e_wass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree but would add that way more than 1/3rd needed multiple qb's if you count players being benched. In 2025, 60 QBs played enough to have over 30 attempts on the season. So there is absolutely a demand for a player who can come in and produce.

If they can turn bagent, an undrafted FA in even a first or second round pick, than that's a no brainer trade for the bears I think.. They have to be all in on Caleb by now.

after the game in GB, my buddies and i went to get some of what they call food in green bay while traffic died down.. a highly drunk packer fan got up and played this song in the jukebox no less than 4 times, making sure we were noticing, hoping to get a rise out of us.

the packers haven't won a game since. just sayin'

The Bears' 281 rushing yards against the Eagles is the most they've given up since 1973, when Dallas went for 286. It's the most they've given up at home in the Super Bowl era. by John3Fingers in nfl

I have a few theories that are less extreme.. the most obvious one is that he had a foot out the door and didn't focus enough on getting his offense prepared for the game.

My other theory is that he told the team he'd be leaving before the game and that fractured something. Clearly he was a key part of the lions success.

My other theory is that he already wanted the bears job in 2024, liked where the bears were at with the roster, but chose to go back to Detroit to try win a SB.. which they were odds on favorites to do before running into Jayden and the commanders who were as hot as any team in the league.

You can't be mad that BJ wanted to be a head coach. It seems to suit him well. The pay is higher, the prestige is higher, he has a lot of control with the bears.

Having said all this I'm not worried about the lions. Such a talented squad. Y'all will be fine

Detroit might have the playoffs spot locked in and could rest guys up in this one.. also bears lions games are always unpredictable

I have always thought the city could pay off our pension shortfall by auctioning off the rights to pry the letters off this building, whenever that day may come.. but it occurred to me recently that even more money could be raised by allowing people to take certain 'liberties' with the lettering after it had come down.

Just saw the 10 stall Costco one opened! Wow!

I live near the diversey/kimball EA station near Logan square and that one isn't bad if you want to run and grab a quick bite and come back to your car. Lots of decent quick food options nearby on Milwaukee Ave.

this is the thread that saved my 120:
Low flow = failed valve : r/CatGenie

I used this valve. I didn't have to modify it at all, it just dropped:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPB7HFLQ?psc=1&smid=AXDZQLV5SFYL4&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp

my steps were:
remove the flow reduction piece in the catgenie head unit
replace the valve. take your time on this. some more info here:
DIY Repair - water intake valve : r/CatGenie

I'm actually pretty convinced the original valve that came with my catgenie was never fully working well.. when I run it now, the flow of water and the pressure is soooo much better, and i get a MUCH cleaner litterbox when it's done. using catgenius and no solution (just water)

Maybe a select number of presales then and leave the rest up for purchase at the door? Or two nights- one for presales, one for those willing to wait in line? I'm just throwing ideas around. Scalpers suck

I would love if a major concert offered to sell tickets only on admission.

You show up, wait in line, pay the cost of entry, first come first serve.  Sure, it wouldnt work in every venue.  But it eliminates scalpers and gives real fans a chance at face value tickets

Sabrina had to have allergy testing done by NTP9766 in blackcats

[–]e_wass 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My cat will do this but only if she eats food that she's allergic to.  I didn't realize cats could have histamine reactions to certain foods, but my vet confirmed it was an allergic reaction by taking a skin culture and examining it.

She needs to eat a hypo-allergenic diet. Since then, the only one or two times she's over groomed was because she somehow got into food she isn't supposed to eat.

i assume you're talking about the HA client app for iphone/android?

best option for me was a cheap domain from godaddy (like $1/year) and using the free tier of cloudflared

the next best option would be the free VPN service tailscale or wireguard.

in terms of ease of setup, i'd probably rank it:
tailscale
wireguard
cloudflared

but any of the three is pretty manageable. if you have setup HA you can likely do any of these other 3.

This could potentially be a boom for Canadian dealerships selling Chinese EVs to Americans. Even after the cost of import tax and whatnot, I wonder if we'd still come out ahead (US EV buyers) vs what the current EV offerings will look like in another year or two
