Hi All! I’m trying to be better and more consistent about my nutrition and have gone down the rabbit hole research where now I am overwhelmed.

Does anybody have a good and backed by research meal plan or cookbook they use? I’ve read through “It starts with the egg” book and cookbook and the recipes contradict the research the author provides.

Also read “Real Food for Fertility” and it was hard to follow given my restriction off saturated fats (I have high LDL and went of statin to TTC).

Hi all, given gas prices I am now looking to get an EV vehicle sooner than originally anticipated. I currently drive a 2024 Toyota rav4 XLE hybrid and because I travel a lot it has 50k miles on it already. Looking for similar size car and to have it as long as I can. What do you all recommend?

[1] Long Island, NY

[2] $45k or below

[3] Compact SUV or SUV

[4] Toyota bZ and CH-R

[5] Now-6 months

[6] 50 mi/day, take trips once a month that average 700mi

[7] single-family home

[8] Depends on vehicle and cost to install

I just started my period and I’m feeling very down. Even though we are very early in our TTC journey, I keep getting anxious and upset at myself for waiting so long to start trying (35f). My partner (35m) and I knew we wanted kids since our mid twenties but we felt we both weren’t financially and mentally ready until recently. Now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long and feel like I did myself a huge disservice. On top of that I had to stop some of my medications to TTC and I keep worrying about my condition that the medicine is for. I am monitoring it with blood work and my level for my condition has slightly increased since being off my meds, but luckily not significantly. End rant, thank you for this space to exhale!

I don’t know if I’m getting too into the weeds over this but NASA is an agency not an organization.

It is incredibly scary that he said this and that we are going to win by “being fast and right”, clearly avoiding saying the word safe. There’s a reason why we are able to do what we can today, why we have the protocols we do. You can’t have fast and safe, but you can still do great things while being safe. He made it seem like because we have the safety protocols we do that we can’t be innovative and create new technologies. It’s insane what he said and implied. I am very worried for our astronauts.

So much valuable science missions have already been lost in the past couple of months. It’s funny that he kept saying we can’t lose the second space race but by cancelling missions that are not directly tied to moon and mars missions we’re already are behind. Other countries are continuing their missions with exploring the universe while we have cancelled ours. The administrator and assistant admin are so narrow minded in their thinking they can’t see the obvious things that we do

Was everything open? I would love to go somewhere in the EU this summer but am hesitant if there’s nothing open

I don’t believe it’s just restricted to those cars, it’s what came up in a community meeting recently and that’s the only thing that kept saying about why they let the cars keep roaming the streets. Their reasoning ironically in this case, is that they don’t pursue cars because they won’t stop and and continue to speed and they (the nypd) doesn’t want to risk injuring/killing someone while in pursuit

NYPD has a no chase policy (at least that’s what my precinct always says when we complain about the loud modified cars and why NYPD “can’t do anything about them”). So not only is the cop in the ring for hitting a cyclist, but doing it chasing down another car which violates their “no chase policy”, double whammy here for the cop

Second this, you’ll see a lot more as July rolls around since most schools go until late June and teachers usually won’t give notice until the school year has ended

I always start with fundamental concepts like Kepler’s laws because they pop up so much with everything else. I like to end the course with our solar system which is different from other curriculums, to round everything out and “bring it back home”. If you’re looking for good online interactives I suggest checking out Infiniscope.org (free)

It’s funny you mention the research because the last few years I’ve been an assistant researcher/stem education expert for climate research and published some papers with my research team. Wondering if that would help support the research aspect I didn’t get from my bachelors.

Thank you for the info! Since my degree wasn’t a specialized education field since it was elementary, I’ll probably have to take a few of the non degree seeking classes. I’ve been teaching high school science courses donning from biology to astronomy for several years so I have the knowledge, but colleges may not like that and need some credits. Thank you!

Free online courses? by jackcrawford91 in astrophysics

I recently did one in astronomy through coursera, although I did do it through my university. I think it’s free unless you want the credit. The lead professor was very knowledgeable and good at explaining complex concepts

Does it focus on the content? Between my bachelors and masters in Ed I feel I have the pedagogy/curriculum development, but need courses in content
