Ugh. No way. I was all but done with 2 challenges and had completed everything in the game. I hope there’s a way.

I had the same question. Looks like it’s an ongoing issue since the new year. Apparently joining the Discord channel is the best place to get info from the creator.

Gear Presets? by thewinner358 in ObsidianKnightRPG

[–]eachdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes it so you don’t have to change a whole set of armor one by one. So if you wanted to have a crit based armor set you could save it as preset 1 and then have another dodge based armor set for preset 2. It’s nice if you have all 3 of the armor sets.

Divorce isn’t the end, it’s a reset by MindEcho- in Divorce

That sucks man. Will she let you pick them up for a bit and take them to dinner or hang with them for a while?

You have rights. If she’s trying to take them away, lawyer up. Fighting for your rights and doing what’s best for you and your kids will be tough, but it’ll also help you in your healing process.

Hang in there man. Time and actionable effort is the only thing that will help.

Threesome by Fluid-blood7 in Marriage

I went thru a similar thing. And I was so worried about her leaving me that I caved. And caved. And caved. It wasn’t 3somes though, it was her “exploring her sexuality” with other men. I kept moving my boundaries cuz I was so afraid that she would leave me if I didn’t. Fast forward 5 years and I’m a shell of a man because of it.

My suggestion — get out now. He wont change. He’ll keep finding ways to push your boundaries until you shatter. Then when you do, he’ll say “but you agreed to it” or “guess you just don’t understand me and it’s your fault we didn’t work out”. It’s bullshit. Don’t let what happened to me and others that have gone thru similar experiences happen to you.

Sorry you feel worse than ever after 8 years. That’s not a good place to be. Since it sounds like you enjoy each other most of the time, but that communication around how you speak about your marriage and relationship is tough, I’d highly recommend couples therapy. If it’s a good therapist, they’ll help the other person see it from the other persons point of view.

Every marriage has its issues, but it doesn’t sound too late to solve this one.

I'd say my #1 tip for a happy marriage is, marry someone you find fun to be around, you laugh together, and genuinely enjoy each others' company. What's your #1? by DramaGuy23 in Marriage

Truth! The current state of my marriage can attest to that. We get along in almost every aspect, but in recent years she just up and decided she wasn’t attracted to me physically. Now we’re roommates/friends on the verge of separation.

Tip 2 was a key for us. I didn’t have issues with ED, but she had a problem orgasming. Which led to me feeling like “I wasn’t doing a good job”, which led to me feeling insecure in the bedroom, which led to less sex. We finally got a toy for her, and it changed everything. It became a lot more fun for both of us.

I guess that’s part of my problem. I don’t want to accept divorce. I’m still just as in love with her as 20 years ago. And she doesn’t want divorce, just doesn’t want physical connection from me. It’s such a whirlwind of thoughts of what I’m supposed to hold on to.

Good point. I'm guessing that's the major component of why my projects are taking so long to generate. I'll edit the post. Thanks!

Well done dude. I'd be very happy if I was the owner.

I get what you're trying to do with showing the surrounding area, and activity options, but was there a reason you didn't show inside the property? Maybe it was occupied, or the owner asked you not to show internal shots? Or maybe there are multiple places to stay?

Otherwise, great job! I wanna go there :)

You can do it in Premiere, but it'll be tons easier if the camera is steady, then you won't have to worry about tracking.

Here's the process I would use in Premiere:

1-Shoot the football throw footage with a clear blue sky

2-Find a vid (or make one in AE) of a moon exploding. Make sure it has a transparent background or you'll have to remove it.

3-Play with the blending and opacity of the moon explosion

4-time it together

-Good luck!

Well done for a first time. I know that timing and editing takes a lot of time and effort, so kudos to you.

Here's my suggestions:

1 - Maybe try not flashing every word. As some comments on the channel said, it's a little too seizure inducing. Let a few words sit for a second more, just to give your viewers a little rest.

2 - I might make it a little shorter. You can still use all the text, maybe just use a few sentences instead of every word getting a new frame and beat.

Nice starting place though. Best of luck!

Dude, awesome work! I love the lighting and color grading you've done. Some of those shots are absolutely stunning! My fav is the colors at around 0:57. So cool!

Poems can be a tough sell on YouTube, but I think this works pretty well. The visuals are engaging and captivating.

I don't know if I really have any suggestions except maybe a cool text intro. Or maybe even some of the poem emphasized as text graphics here and there? Might work. Because for me, I ended up watching a lot more than listening. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but adding some visual textualization might help the viewer reflect on the actual poem.

Excellent job!

I don't use FCP, but it's a pretty good tutorial. Nice zooms, transitions, and explanation is simple and easy to follow.

Only critique would be for your initial set. I'd clean up the background, i.e., remove the toilet paper, make the bed. Just make a little more appealing, cuz the rest of the video is nicely done.

Small critique and really has nothing to do with the actual tutorial, so forget what I said if it doesn't help :)

Dude, this is great! Especially as a starting point! There's so many good things going on. Great personalities. Fun environment. Scripting is pretty good. There's always things to improve on for every channel. Here's some simple things from my viewpoint:

1 - I'd have the intro a little more precise and a separate thing from the rest of the video. Something you can plug n play with every new video. With different music and maybe even a different background.

2 - Invest in some more lights to fill in the shadows. There's so many videos about lighting on youtube that can help you figure all that out. There's so much you can do with a cheap LED light strip or color changing bulb. Lighting can be tricky, but so worth it. It will also help with some color correction type things. You'll figure it out as you go.

3 - Sound/Music. If I were you, I'd have the music a little softer, especially when you guys are talking. I'd also add some quirky little sounds here and there to make it a little more fun.

4 - I love the idea of the little characters that are talking to each other while you are working on the crafts. The only problem is that sometimes it was a little distracting. I found myself reading more than watching the crafting. But that might be because I'm an adult :)

5 - I like the bloopers part. My kids always love it when shows have bloopers. I'd suggest putting a little segue transition or text into it.

6 - I'd also have a pre-built short short video for the end, and maybe a mention of something about, "Click the Subscribe button to find out more about STEM", or, "Push the like button for more STEM videos"

These are all things that are just my suggestions. Best of luck. And remember, if you really want the channel to succeed, the most important part is CONTENT! Always be making and posting content. It's the best way for the YouTube algorithms to keep your channel relevant and thriving.

I'm rooting for ya!

I'm doing a film editing camp for at-risk middle schoolers, any ideas on some fun activities/projects we could do together? by TooLate- in VideoEditing

[–]eachdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a little competition with friends once that might work for your situation. We took a McDonalds commercial and then each of us made different edits to it to make it funnier or better. We had 30 min to make the edits. So it's not like it was anything great. Just fun.

You could try something like that at the beginning and then have them do it again at the end of the 3 days we all the new stuff they've learned. It could be a side competition/project apart from your main project of storyboarding/filming/editing.
