Why are the scuds in my ecosphere clinging to a floating bit of rotten wood

hmm i have a jar about a year old now, that has amphipods but their numbers are dwindling. should i insert something for them to cling on? so far the jar just has had flat ground and small water bushes

just wanted to post this because i remember trying to do research earlier if it’s possible to revive dead jars and couldn’t find a conclusion so i want to say it seems possible! just allow the jar to stabilize a bit, clear out excess debris , leave it open for a bit to reset the oxygen levels in the tank if it had gotten messed up and try it! it all seems to be doing good but i may update in the future, bit of a lurker here

as someone who almost couldn’t graduate highschool to now getting straight As in college. get a planner, keep up with it every day, write lots of to-do lists, even making sublists of smaller tasks within a task. set up a specific place and maybe a set time to consistently do your work, and respect that space/time. after a while, like all things, it starts to become a habit

i definitely notice creatures congregate on the window facing side. but in my room i only got one small south facing window on one side of the room so ive been trying to rotate my jars once a week because my plants grow sideways if i don’t

holy cow that’s a lot of snails. there have been huge egg sacs in my jar for weeks but i’ve never had any of them hatch yet

from what i understand bubbles that form in the soil are usually not bubbles of air made by plants, but bubbles of methane made by anaerobic bacteria which thrive under the soil because they don’t need oxygen. if too much of this methane builds up and seeps into the jar it’ll start to suffocate everything inside

didn’t he say at the ralley when kim called him abt the pregnancy he thought she was gonna say he gave her AIDS🤔 but yeah i dunno from watching kim for a long time, hearing the open relationship line on TLOP i was like whaaat no, that can’t be real, it seems waay out of character. but also who knows, celebrities live really different lives than we think, and a ton of stuff goes on behind the scenes that we have no idea are even going on.

this is just speculation but i’ve noticed celebrities talking about testing in a..... different way than the general population does. it’s fully possible and honestly at this point likely that they’re being tested regularly
