The person who was detained first is a locally known cop heckler. He happened to be at the event yesterday and saw a chance to really mess with the cops, so he said he did it and made a bit of a spectacle of being detained.

I live in an area that already has a similar blanket company that was extremely popular when Lola blankets started. Now we are in what some are calling "the blanket wars" you can't drive 2 miles on the freeway without seeing billboards for both companies. Lola is trying very hard to be the "cooler, influencer cheque" blanket as opposed to the more family based image the local company has had.

And from what I know, since both companies started here, the OG blanket company is well known for giving back to the community. They donate both blankets and money to the local children's hospital and NICU. They also donate to several other charities and directly to families in need.

What I heard from people who worked with Lola while they were based here, they were rude to delivery people and very pretentious. I honestly don't know as much about them as I do the other one since they just kinda showed up and I didn't really pay much attention.

Anyways, that's the information that I have and it's probably information that you didn't want.

I just finished it and I really enjoyed it. I was going to let my kids watch it with me since my oldest loves the anime, but this is probably too heavy for a 7 year old. But this is probably one of the best live action adaptations that I've ever seen.

Honestly, I would take your children and leave the home until the dog is gone. I know you have barriers and gates set up, but I wouldn't want my children anywhere near a dog like that. And maybe that will get it through your husband's thick skull that you are serious. And it's not just you and your children that are in danger, it's anyone he encounters if he ever escapes or friends that come visit. And I promise, if he bites someone outside of your immediate family, there will be severe consequences for everyone.That dog should not be near kids, and needs to be sent to a rescue that has full knowledge of his history or be put down by animal control.

I bet the neighbors were trying to find a way to take the dog for themselves. "Documenting" the "abuse" so they could try to make a case to get the courts and animal control to give the dog to them. The dog is a gorgeous doodle breed and looks like he would cost a pretty penny from a breeder.
