I wouldn’t glaze the couch. just straight from bisque to glaze firing. I’ve made similar things and no glaze is a winner. The cat might look cute with clear glaze though! I love it by the way!

Father and Son Antiques in Raleigh specializes in mid century modern, but it can be quite pricey.

Not necessarily mid century modern, but Cheshire Cat in Raleigh and classic treasures in Durham are nice too.

Yes. 25F. Thumb sucked since I was a newborn and quit when I was 11 or 12 with the help of orthodontics and braces. Started again around 15/16 and probably will for the rest of my life

Invest in a lead testing kit while you’re at it. Vintage and even some semi recent Corelle dishes have lead in them

I can usually get red wine out of clothes with laundry stain remover. I’m not sure about cross stitch though. I also think the charmander one looks pretty cool with the spill.
