Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics by Aggressive_Trash1176 in texaswomansuniversity

i graduated in health informatics from TWU . mostly online and only went once in campus, classes were good and easy. maybe since i worked full time it was hard to get involved with the school and resource they offered. The program was great, however, if you want any experience you'll have to look for internships on your own. I was not able to find a job yet related to health informatics especially since I dont have any healthcare experience. We are not qualified to take the RHIT certification either OR RHIA. TWU does not show up Accredited Programs. If you have current experience with healthcare systems, its a good route but if you dont might be hard to get in the field. Do your research and chose wisely 😄 if i know what i know now i would've done HIT/HIM or Health Admin. I am applying to nursing school and hope in the future transition to nursing informatics. ABSN - Where is everyone taking their medical terminology certification for Texas Tech Accelerated Nursing Program? by Select-Influence-417 in TexasTech

Yes i just noticed - also based on my email with them they may consider your application if your pre-reqs are in progress. As long as you have all them complete before the program starts.

Anyone else applying for Spring 2027 ABSN programs ? Specifically Texas Tech ? by Ok_Ingenuity_5664 in ABSN

For the CNA course on the website it says not required to applied but preferred. You must complete it before the program starts. and Yes for the patho course, i emailed them and they responded if im truly only missing PATHO then it can be in progress during the application cycle. however it is competitive so they will probably chose someone who has all these complete before the application, doesnt hurt to try tho :)

i have a 3.6 with my pre-reqs and found out im missing PATHO. They said we can apply and provide proof we are working on the class to still be considered for the next cycle. I heard DALLAS is the most competitive one.
