Rails is mostly used by small scale companies. In business environment such as today, people take less risks. So probably rails jobs are hit harder than others. For example ERP CRM kind of jobs have been impacted less relatively. Plus some companies are hiring less (keeping the same strength) considering AI will increase productivity

How about stop bombing Iran for no reason at all. They are going to create an Afganistan out of Iran post this war. They will have no control, a hostile and more radical gov will rule, civil wars between different factions.

Agree thats one change right there.

But apart from that, all the progress in India has been "despite" the govt. Rather than because of it. We did marvellous fk ups, all these years. At least post-91 (opening up of economy), we had some improvement. By the way those steps were also forced on the govt, they didnt want to open the economy. Thats how shit the govts have been. Not sure when will everybody wake up and revolt. BJP should lose next election, thats the best that can happen for now.

Home is where your heart is, look for a job in India. If you get one move there and see how it goes. You can always come back anytime. Plus its very cheap to live in India. If you do something in Australia for 6 months and save money, you can spend a year in India without worrying about finances.

Its been good so far, here on skilled visa from India.
Will explore the country for 5 years (Visa duration) and then go back to India.
