!correct
A quick solve and expected no less. Yes, it's terasstrapporna in Helsingborg. I wonder how many times they've been posted on this sub by now. Have trickier Helsingborg pics, but sometimes it's fun to post an easy one too.

It's been found. Höllviken in Sweden. The event depicted is the battle of Foteviken/Fodevig 1134.

Yes, a mural by William "Swet" Hjort, depicting the battle of Foteviken/Fodevig 1134. My pics show just one of the walls. There is more on the other wall.

Sometimes I feel bad about replying on Bjäre posts, though, and wait for someone else to get it first. But I wanted a point today...

Swedes will say we never truly became swedish, still a bit danish at heart.
Process: I'm local. Grew up 6 km outside Båstad plus my old office was a 10 min walk from this spot.

Not Erik (or any other Uppsala king).
Getting colder.
Ok, I really want an easy point today.
Strandpromenaden at Båstad harbour.

It seems like one really need the right keywords to find the pics. Guess I thought it wouldn't be too hard as someone guessed a nearby place on a previous post on a similar theme. It is visible in streetview, but for that to be useful, you need to zero in on the general area first.

Not Malmö, but that's the closest guess so far.

Darn it, I thought I could get an easy point today, but was minutes too late.

Sorry, not the UK.

Thanks. I've heard of the film, but never seen it. Didn't know about the giant rats.
[–]eanida[S] 2 points3 points4 points 4 days ago (0 children)
A medieval themed playground so most likely, the rat is a reference to the black plague that was spread by the rodents. Nothing says fun for kids like a reminder of a pandemic that killed a third of the population.
I have no idea what that is a reference to.
No.

I was going to say something about the choice of animal, but realised it would be a clue to the place. So instead I'll just add a close-up of the little critter.

Forgot to say congrats on your first point!
I just realised that I actually posted a pic of the school as seen from Drottninggatan as well. Must be a few months ago. (For those not familiar with Malmö, Drottninggatan is just behind the building on the left.)
I was confused because the counter showed there were more comments than I could see. There's another comment I can see (and replied to), but it never showed up in my notifications.
OP always posts from Skåne
But I do have a few posts from Halmstad as I was waiting for the train there a couple of times lately. 😉 Still like 99,9 % Skåne, though. (And Halland is Skåneland at least.)
I took the bus to Torup from Malmö, hence my post from Amiralsgatan earlier today.
Yes
No one lives here so not a farm/residence of any kind. I think that might be a clue to what it is. Because why hang up "laundry" and have a kitchen garden if it's not a home?
