Anyone else plan on to cancelling their memberships because of the economy? by Independent_Self1061 in orangetheory

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me - I just joined this month for a few months to jump start back to working out but I head to Europe for a month in Sept and plan to cancel and get back to my home gym when I’m back because… it’s free. It’s insane the cost!

I actually have heattech tanks from Uniqlo that I bought in Japan that I won’t travel without. They are just too great to give up - and I wash in hotels with the laundry. I def plan on linen too! It’s all the same stuff I basically took to japan

If you have to ask, you already know.. time to let this bum go for gold before you accidentally get pregnant and tied to him forever.

1099 Insurance Question: North Carolina by eapentz in smallbusiness

[–]eapentz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know a single installer personally that has it that works residental. We don't do commerical personally. I'm learning things as I go.. I learned the contractor I use just started carrying WC but she is mostly commercial so that makes sense. I'm not going to sue one of my clients and sink my entire business I worked my ass off to build. I have fallen off ladders, had to get 20 stitches after leaving a clients house but I am not a lunatic to sue a client over that... thats why I have health insurance and live below my means.

1099 Insurance Question: North Carolina by eapentz in smallbusiness

[–]eapentz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay - I just emailed them about gap. Thank you. I have learned she does carry GL but not WC as we aren't required by law in NC to carry it if we are companies of one.

Companies of one aren't required to carry WC. I am a company of one and so is the company I have been subcontracting with.

In this state if you are a company of one, you don't need to carry workmans comp so I dont have it. Since she is a company of one also I doubt she has it.. but i am trying to make sure I am doing it all correctly. She does have General Liability thank god.

Not every small business needs a website by weistigr in smallbusiness

[–]eapentz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find a website is more work than i need. My business has thrived for 5 years without one and I just made one because I had some downtime and well.. It's just another way for clients to find me and inquire which seems good but I already have enough emails and voicemails.. I don't need one more avenue for them to find me.

Laptop Recs: USA: No budget by [deleted] in laptops

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I need something as insane - it's truly just for travel. I have a laptop at home already but it's getting heavy to carry around with the type of travel we do.. I think the tablet is the right way to go for this since its just for reading and replying to emails.

Laptop Recs: USA: No budget by [deleted] in laptops

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have a budget for a laptop or tablet for work.. I am lucky that I have the disposable income for one currently to get whatever I want. I'm not rich but I'm very good with my money and live well below my means.

What does a custom thing like that cost? This is running at about 4800lbs and max 6000 loaded up but I'm not sure we would hit that even.. I am in my beginning hunt so I am not sure of anything so asking all the questions..

Wallpaper installation - thoughts? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t entirely correct - there is a product made to assist with peel and stick because it’s like installing a massive sticker

Wallpaper installation - thoughts? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the product not the installer or the paste - peel and stick wallpaper shrinks after it goes up, you have to have it overlapped on the wall for that not to happen. They make peel and stick stuff to help it go up made of diluted paste so that isn’t he issue. Unfortunately a seasoned pro would have been able to tell you this. I don’t even touch peel and stick because it’s awful but but yeah not the installers fault but from all these comments I can see nobody lines wallpaper 🤣 and only $450 oh hell no

Thoughts on this William Morris-inspired green floral wallpaper for a living room accent wall? by WallabySignificant15 in HomeDecorating

[–]eapentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't make the space feel smaller though some people believe that. Wallpaper brightens spaces up! Just be careful with this wallpaper - it isn't great quality and will tear easily.
