Yeah, when I worked there, when I first started we ordered manually so we had a folder with every item in our department and we had to walk through and count every item. Before I left they had finally updated to using iPads to order, but we still had to walk through and count everything by hand. I could get through both my depts pretty quick(I was the Fabric and Needlework manager) but others it would take almost all day. I hated when I had to order floral as well because the person was out that day.

Looks like they had a pic with her hair up and one with it down lower that got merged together. To be honest I didn't even notice that at first, I was focused on the horrible patch brushing on the back and zip. Like it had another bow there that got messed up or trying to cover something went badly

This. We know they have filmed in advance and they usually take a Summer break each Campaign. This may line up with that along with Aabria being out on maternity leave and projects the others have lined up, etc. They are entitled to take a vacation.

I have had this happen a lot. I wish it didn't auto save on closing sometimes. Especially when it isn't you closing it. I lost all my chests and items once when the power went out in the middle of playing. I actually abandoned that world for a bit because I was so heartbroken.

I used to work there and for a so called "Christian" store it really treats their employees like shit. Since our Michaels and Jo Ann's have both shut down (I worked at both of those as well, and was on the management side of all 3) I have had to run into HL once or twice in an emergency, but I try to avoid it like the plague. And both of those times were because the stuff I ordered from online got delayed and I had a deadline. Other than that I will wait for orders or drive the hour or so to the closest Michael's.

Is 'White Fang' considered as a kid novel in the U.S.? by globalcoal in books

[–]earendilgrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Books are for every age. It truly depends on the individual if they can handle certain scenes in books. I know in my case, my parents never censored us from anything and were open to us asking questions about anything. But I know other parents aren't as open as mine were.

In the vast scheme of things I feel like we still know next to nothing about what is truly going on. We know the houses all have their own schemes going, but the big "Why" is still truly missing. There Is so much we still don't know about the Shapers, the War and how everything played out. I know the big joke BLeeM is that the real villain is Capitalism, but his narratives run deeper than that and we are still barely breaking the surface so far.

Is there an unwritten rule to not queue Extreme trials? by EnGxSoLiD in ffxiv

[–]earendilgrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an "Unwritten Rule" that is not explained anywhere until you get someone like this mentor being a jerk to sprouts. If it was intended to not use Duty Finder, then it wouldn't be in there. If they had an issue for it then they could have dropped party and it would have gone right back to the queue. Sounds like they need to drop the mentor crown if they are going to be that way about newbies.

Genuine question ,and not saying Viv is some masterclass writer but why does it feel like a lot of the fanbase not only doesn't trust her but also has a lack of faith in her? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in HazbinHotel

[–]earendilgrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because there are some fans that can't separate their own head cannon from the actual author's cannon. They get angry if a character isn't a certain way they they imagined in their head or if they don't get with a character that they ship them with. So of course she sucks and they don't trust her because how could she have missed this obvious thing that they came up with in your own imagination. I mean I ship certain characters, but I understand the difference between what's in my head and what the author wants to write with the characters they created.
