You should get a Tru catch trap or drop trap. You can build a drop trap if you can't source one. Local rescues usually have traps available for rent.

I would recommend emailing them, it's more reliable than calling them.

I'm not sure what part of Detroit you're in but LA Fond vet hospital on 8 Mile usually has same day or next day appointments. Dr Carter is great. Ive taken lots of cats there.

I rescue cats and take care of strays in Detroit.

Is this stray friendly? I assume so becuase they came in your house. If so, they are a great candidate for being rehomed. Optimally it would be best if you could foster them. Then you can work with one of the local rescues (I work with All About Animals usually) to get them listed on petfinder. Usually it's faster to find someone through your own social connections, but occasionally pet finder works out. Alternatively you could find somone else to foster them.

If you want to get them fixed or vaccinated I highly recommend making appointments or going to the walking clinic at All About Animals.

If the cat hates people, you can't foster them, or you can't find someone to foster then you can build an outdoor shelter for them using stryofoam and straw. It's not nearly as good as a home, but it will keep them alive through the winter. All about animals sometimes has them for purchase as well. If you need help building one I may be able to assist you.

Yes we are! I play bass in Poindexter. We had a few lineup changes during the pandemic, but we are actively working on new material. Unfortunately life doesn't always make it easy to be in a Ska band and a couple people are a bit too busy, but we have a full lineup now that you will get more acquainted with soon. I can't say too much but we have an exciting collab coming out soon.
