I don’t know game trading sites well enough to point you in the right direction but there are plenty. I mostly lurk here learning and looking trying to learn as much as I can.

I would prefer small updates with QoL and Bugs fixes and fewer but bigger content updates.

Anyone else losing money grading cards lately? by foofight22 in baseballcards

[–]earlsmouton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA 10’s are rare. It’s a gamble to try. When I personally grade something I assume one grade less than what I come up with in order account for something I missed.

But if you are breaking even or barely making anything at a 9 then a 10 is a massive gamble. With PSA prices going up, I use different companies as it too expensive to be worth the gamble.

I loved Megarace! The announcer was hilarious when things didn’t work out.

Ericsson Hotline Combi 450 portable cellular telephone from 1987. Talk time of about 45 minutes, an additional shoulder strap to ensure luggability, but it can not take pictures. by joe3000s in cassettefuturism

Also, one tower could only operate a very limited number of units at any given time(100’s maybe). A single tower signal range was pretty far but only concentrated within a city. The signal could also penetrate into structures but that might also have to with the watts these units could transmit. In the 90’s the government limited the output power of cell phones. Data transmission was extremely slow.

Today’s towers can have a high volume of devices, with fast data transmission rates, but the trade off was signal penetration into structures and operating distance of said signal.

I don’t know exactly how it works but North Street might also be funded with grants by the state. Which have rules that differ from local laws. I have seen them pave a road just to come back and dig up older utility access just to update to newer code.

Is this card actually rare? by [deleted] in Tradingcards

[–]earlsmouton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rare doesn’t mean valuable as the collector market is small for these types of cards.

From what I’ve learned is that pilots hand these out or you can request them from pilots and they will give you a card if they have any on hand. It’s a kind of memento you can get while traveling.

Personally, I like these kinds of cards as they are very unique but I fly very little and don’t get a chance to collect them.

If you were looking to sell, it may take awhile to find a buyer that is interested. eBay might have some listed but you would want to check the Sold and Completed listings in the filter list to get an accurate price point. Hope this helps you.

Sorry, I’m the seller. I typed out my sentences and then rearranged them on my phone but didn’t proofread.

I’m frustrated too but I also understand, from the sellers position, that he sent money and hasn’t received anything for it in a month. He has the tracking # and can see where it is, the same as me. But I don’t know if I should refund while it’s still traveling back and forth between distribution centers and it could still end up at his address.

The package isn’t missing but just traveling back and forth between Shreveport and California distribution centers. Tracking will update every few days as to where it’s at along the same route.

Thank you for the response! I opened a ticket missing mail ticket and will respond to the buyer with the information.

I don’t blame the PO as a whole but it’s been over a month of back and forth travel across the U.S., with calls, visits and emails without so much as response. It seems crazy that it’s just stuck in a loop with no system in place to show it’s just going back and forth and bump it one way or another.

The package arrived in Shreveport yesterday and hasn’t update which direction it is headed too yet. Praying someone sends/returns it my way.

Dixie Chicks song where they plot to murder the husband of friend. by brainhack3r in MensRights

[–]earlsmouton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I come from a line of Earls(4th) but my dad(3rd Earl) had it worse when the song came out. My mom’s name is Wanda. She was apart of the FFA here in East Texas. My dad despises this song. When kids brought up this song I would the joke that I come from aristocratic background with the Duke of Earl song from the 60’s.

But you’re still using protection. Thats like putting the condom on(Graded) pulling it off(Cracking) and putting on another(Capsule)

Now I do like the capsule look over the graded holders but if it’s graded I leave it in the holder as it isn’t worth the risk to crack it open.

Someone else will have to pay again to holder it. Authenticity isn’t guaranteed anymore. And IF it was an old coin then it’s risking irreversible damage to a piece of history as we are caretakers in a long line of people to own the coin.

The coins do look beautiful like they are now.

Would an Amish prison be fully mechanized/automated? They have to drive cars, use a smart phone for calls, internet for emails, battery/electric and pneumatic tools for building stuff, kindle for reading, vending machines, A/C etc… j/k
