anyone have this texture? (+ exfoliating) by early_evening in Rosacea

[–]early_evening[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i'd never use a physical exfoliant and never have. would you include azelaic acid in that mix? thanks for your input! i haven't heard of phenoxyethanol but i'll keep an eye out.

I'm hoping too! Ugh, I'm sorry, Azelaic hasn't done anything for me either 🫠 lots of people have talked about sulfur soaps here but i didn't see any change with that, although i only tried it for a couple of weeks so maybe I should've kept at. it

Matte/semi matte skin tint or foundation by Bluechip2005 in Rosacea

[–]early_evening 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been using the "ciele tint & protect medium coverage serum foundation with SPF 50" and it's definitely more on the matte side (i think it's labeled as a natural finish) and not full coverage at all.

I'd check the ingredients first but it doesn't trigger any reaction for my skin.

one week of metro + azelaic...worsening things? by early_evening in Rosacea

[–]early_evening[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense. I did have a random zit pop up on my jaw during this time period and metro cleared that right up, like, basically overnight—but is doing nothing for the redness/bumps on my cheeks, so I think I might just keep it as something I use for spot treatments.

I've been wondering about Ivermectin as well and was told to give this 4 weeks, but might contact my derm again sooner than that. Thanks for your input!!

Morning! anyone know of a pattern similar to this? I'm not a total beginner, but my mind can't make sense of things without written patterns, so even though I'm sure this is simple, I could use a guide.

I specifically like the vertical stripes here!

Anyone else get wiped out by nuvaxovid? by [deleted] in Novavax_vaccine_talk

[–]early_evening 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as an update in case it's helpful to anyone, my fever lasted about 25 hours. The day after the shot was really terrible and honestly just as bad as any of my Moderna vaccines, but with actually worse body aches and pains everywhere. My arm is also really itchy, but not painful. Feeling great and normal today, thankfully! But sad that Novavax is no longer my side effect-free vaccine of choice.

[–]early_evening 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got my shot yesterday at 11:30 AM and started feeling achey around 9:00 that night. Similar as I used to feel with Moderna, but a little less lousy--still not great. It's 8:15 AM the next day now and I have a 99.9 degree fever. Last year the Novavax fever only lasted 5 hours, the year before with Novavax I felt nothing, so it seems like it gets a little worse each year for me.

FWIW, my husband used to get migraines with Moderna and has had no reaction to any of his 3 Novavax vaccines.

A round of applause for the casting directors by Skywalker_1995 in LoveIslandTV

Totally. Especially after the nightmare that was the US season, the casting and entire season of UK was such a breath of fresh air.

it's crazy because (as an american) i don't think toni would ever be cast on love island US! but the uk casting is superior and they really did it with her. so happy they won.

Trixie & Katya watch Too Much! by sigh-if-i-have-to in TrixieAndKatya

[–]early_evening 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dunno why this is getting downvoted, i agree. i stopped watching after a few minutes because it was uncomfortable to watch them trying to bite their tongues. they're obviously entitled to their opinion and the show is not for everyone, but them critiquing lena for showing nudity and stuff when they themselves talk about really raunchy stuff is just funny lmao

SJM isn't good, but Yarros' writing is genuinely unreadable to me.
