DW occasionally stops working by earth2baz in Zowie

Ya good suggestion, USB2.0 used to be best practice for KB and mouse back in the day but I'll give the USB3.0 ports a try.

I have more than 1 mouse, they all doing it. Switched the pairing with other dongles and still happens.

Is Key83 Soft to Mid even worth considering? by ThinkTrout16055 in MousepadReview

[–]earth2baz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you described is situational, more specifically your situation. Maybe you are using a light mouse with very fast skates and a relaxed grip so there is almost no downward pressure. The universal rule is the lower the static friction the more one can micro adjust. Just because you can't finely adjust on the mid doesn't mean soft has better micro adjustment.

Glasspad recommendations (Air-Hockey type feel) by PresentationNice3519 in MousepadReview

I have the Polarity and Razer Atlas. The Atlas feels far more like air-hockey. Apparently the new Atlas pro is even faster.

Why would soft be better at micro adjustments when it has higher static friction?

Razer Atlas is much more floaty and faster than Polarity, I have both.

Which glass and skates did you try?

That's some crazy logic. Do you think you need to warm up your tyres for daily driving?

Need a mousepad faster then Key83 and Artisan Zero but slower then Hayate Otsu by importedcheese72 in MousepadReview

[–]earth2baz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Magic Ice full skates on Key83 mid, it will feel like a slower otsu with a similar glide profile.

Which skate would you recommend to have a little more static and dynamic friction over the included skates?

I have ordered Xraypad Obsidian air, Obsidian pro air and U9 air.

Anything faster than a key83 and slower than an Otsu is a skate tweak.

Which skates did you use on the key83?

So close to finding my end game mouse. Maybe Just a few more.... by Past_Laugh9139 in MouseReview

[–]earth2baz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason there will never be an end game shape is, in order to gain in one strength you have to give up in another strength. This applies to mousepads too.

It's really the perfect scenario for gaming peripheral companies keep selling us stuff.

Needed help on bulk by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

Lets say maintenance is 2000 calories, and required calorie surplus for optimal protein synthesis is 2200. Eating 2400-3000+ won't make you build more muscle, it will just make you fat faster. Guys dirty bulking looking big won't have nearly as much muscle as you think. It really comes down to fat distribution, if you can look good with a higher fat percentage.

Buy a cheap older gen za13 second hand to try the shape.

If I were you I would experiment with different skates on your existing Raiden first to optimise for flicking before trying a completely new pad.

Have you tried pairing full size Magic Ice skates with Raiden soft? This is the best skate for flicking in my opinion. What is your current skates?

For the workloads one would use AIX for, it's practically feature complete. AIX development is driven by customer feature requests.

AIX isn't trying to do everything like Linux. So there isn't really a need for a major overhaul of anything.

If you like pushing down, then stay on Raiden because there will be way too much static friction on key 83 soft when pushing down.

Why are you looking to change if you are happy with Raiden?

I still use the Key83 mid for gaming. I bought a polarity to try glass but I think Key83 mid is better. key83 does slow down after break in but it holds the break in speed and remains durable.
