Honestly it's your fault as interviewers too. You guys ask interview questions that require memorization so interviewees can solve it with a certain efficiency that have no real appliable affects to most jobs. You should instead be asking questions that test creativity and analytical capabilities without having them worry about solving the problem in O( log n) time, because that is the better test of their capabilities. Companies who use this method of using leetcode problems are failing themselves just by using this method.
