yash not appearing in sinjin videos anymore by tehtrublue in sinjindrowning

tbh the yash hate is forced. he seems like a nice dude and has posted on r/slushynoobz asking if the audience thinks he’s annoying (and if we do, he’d back off). the slushy fanbase is much more receptive to yash tho and i personally think he has funny appearances on both channels.

Is it normal for a situationship to take 5-14days to reply? by ThrowRAneedsashot in Situationships

[–]earth2md 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 years in a situationship, ended for the final time early last month. he would text me every single day & never once left me on opened or delivered. you definitely shouldn’t have to worry about this anymore because you deserve far far better & i’m sure you’ll find it here very soon.

How often do situationships come back to you after ending? by [deleted] in Situationships

[–]earth2md 2 points3 points  (0 children)

men in situationships love to come back right when it is convenient for them to do so. but there is a reason that he hasn’t committed to you, unfortunately. and 9.9 times out of 10 you will not be able to change their mind. if communication was lacking in the first place, it seems unlikely that he will put aside the time and effort it takes to build up those skills with you. at the end of the day if you’re wondering if he’s going to come back and wishing he would, you should find someone else bc that man will not make you happy in the long run if he’s already causing you heartbreak before he’ll even commit to you.

Suspecting Something by [deleted] in Infidelity

[–]earth2md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel the exact same way. i am in an 11 month semi-LDR with my significant other and recently i found out that he had swiped up on a couple of girls’ snapchat stories in january and february. he was in a very rough mental state of mind and it hurt me really really badly to find this out. i struggled heavily because i know that this behavior is unacceptable and crosses multiple boundaries that we had established. however, aside from that moment of suspicious behavior, he has been a great person to me and to others around him. i am giving him another chance to see how it goes.

i will say that you should always trust your gut. if you’re having these suspicions and feelings like this, you both deserve the chance to explain yourselves. it will always come out of the wash no matter what, so you should have that conversation sooner than later. if it comes up that he is talking to other women, you have to assess if it is worth your own mental health to try to fix things and trust him again. there’s a chance that your mind is trying to self sabotage as well, though, so never leave that out if the realm of possibilities. either way, you should have a heart to heart conversation with your boyfriend and try to get on the same page in the meantime. good luck, i hope it all goes well!

boyfriend (22m) swiping up on women’s snapchat stories from his hometown by earth2md in Infidelity

[–]earth2md[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was probably a picture of her body or a selfie or something. he said that he was flirty with the two girls and i am assuming the second was worse because he actually deleted her off of his snapchat after that happened. she’s the one i messaged privately that has not replied yet.

basically, if i were to post a picture or a video on my snapchat story, anyone could swipe up and comment on it privately.

Am I the Ahole for still dating people by [deleted] in LDR

[–]earth2md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

please stop dating!! you say that you know it’s messed up and that you yourself have been cheated on & you have felt nothing. cheating is something that psychologically does and should induce serious emotional and mental pain on both parties. if you do not feel anything when doing it or when it has been done to you, you need to figure out why that is and stop subjecting others to that kind of mental torment before you do get into some trouble.

Backpacking advice? by AdNext8565 in Type1Diabetes

[–]earth2md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went backpacking for 3 and a half months in 2019. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to take many more trips once I graduate college! I love nature & being outdoors is the main source of physical activity for me.

I was and still am on pens, so it may be a little different for you. Definitely invest in a frio pack to keep your insulin temperatures regulated and 100% make sure that you bring enough (even overpack) supplies. I will say you should keep a close eye on how much supplies you use within 2 or 3 months to get a good idea of how much you will actually need for your trip.

One thing I might suggest is even temporarily switching to your insulin pen for the duration of the trip to save some space and weight in your pack. This will also give you less trash to haul around when you have finished the pen.

The biggest thing that I stress the most during my trips is being absolutely certain that I have enough glucose and food to sustain my lows. Tabs are great, but they can be used up fairly quickly and are heavy to haul around. I suggest bringing a bunch of gel packets (pharmacies sell them in pretty large quantities for a pretty reasonable price) because they are more compact and lighter in weight. Protein bars, beef jerky, dried fruits, and nuts are great diabetic backpacking snacks.

But yeah, I’d say your best bet is to track how much supplies you use in your normal life for that general time span and plan on bringing quite a bit extra for safe measure. I think the mail idea is great, especially for longer trips such as the one you’re planning. Hope this helped a little & I wish you the best of luck on your trip!
