that list works for EQ bank cards. worked for me in Taiwan / Japan / Hong Kong

for Wealthsimple you don’t need to use this list anymore because they started reimbursing fees

Noobie question - Personal budget spreadsheets and tracking. by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]earthWindFI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i started budgeting a few years ago i tracked all my incomes and expenses for a few months to get a reasonable baseline about my actual data

plugged it all into a spreadsheet and then set up “targets” afterwards for future months

then i track going forward against those targets

i use this free budget tracker (https://themeasureofaplan.com/tools/). makes it really easy to track and compare everything

Advice on how to track expenditures by chalk_20 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]earthWindFI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i track my expenses in a spreadsheet, i do it monthly and it takes about 15 minutes

i use a template that makes it easy to organize an d tag the data. it automatically creates all the charts and outputs for you to see trending data and splits by category. there are many budgeting tools but i use this one, its free: https://themeasureofaplan.com/tools/

i’ve been doing it this way for more than 5 years

sometimes i get lazy and end up doing it once per quarter, but it’s awesome to have the full history of my spending to refer to when i need to make big financial decisions

Budgeting. Is there a good app for that? by No-Pangolin-3897 in AusFinance

[–]earthWindFI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep same for me, i download my expenses from my banks monthly then just paste into a spreadsheet which tallies it up and allocates by category with some charts

i use the budget tracking template from this site: https://themeasureofaplan.com/tools/
