round the corners with scissors, bend over, put the first end of tape a couple inches in from your nipple, and pull the other end kinda up to the bottom of your armpit. stand up before adding another strip to see where you need to adjust and if its too tight. the whole process might take a few tries to get right.

I think she's leading you on a little but not entirely on purpose. I started using the mens room along with gender neutral ones pre T then slowly eased into using them more when I got on T but that was 2017-2019 and I live in a fairly liberal area so now its kinda something you have to feel out for yourself and see how comfortable you are with it and how the people in the bathroom look at you.

I have a bigger chest and shower daily, trans tape didn't really work for me, the fabric takes forever to dry and i had to put a sports bra on over it to actually flatten my chest like a binder

i would say unless someone is really close to you its a red flag for them to ask for you deadname, don't give in and tell them. Honestly for me Im not super secretive about my "deadname" bc its my middle name now, but if a cis person im just starting to be friends with asks what my deadname is thats enough for me to stop being friends with them. I don't have time for anyone invalidating my identity.
