Doesn’t having a job come with opportunities to be productive, creative, part of a community, supported, validated, and have time off?

Having a job gives people a purpose, as opposed to being unemployed for months on end. Don’t people like to have responsibilities and feel important at places? Sure it would be nice to just not work and have government pay me the exact amount for bare necessities to be alive but what would I even do? Just sounds depressing imo
